making it worse

In one of your earlier posts you said you do all the things to help your prolapse and avoid the things that will make it worse. What are those things? I know the posture helps and I want to be sure I don't do things that will cause further damage.Also, what is colase? I saw it mentioned in another post. It was said to help with the rectocele.
Thank you Nancy for recomending the bicycle. I too used to do that exercise. When I try to do it now, it is a lot harder to get in the position. My butt weighs a lot more now!

Things that make prolapse worse:

Slumping, slouching, inactivity, flat back posture, restrictive clothing, poor shoes (barefoot is best), poor quality food, constipation, abdominal and pelvic surgery, exhaustion, stress, anxiety, anger.

Colace is a stool softener.Many women with rectocele rely on regular use of these.

With a truly natural diet where meat, dairy, and sugar are limited constipation is rare. If you experience constipation, add more raw greens. Try two peeled granny smith apples eaten between meals for extra aid.
