When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Urgency and frequency
Those are my most annoying symptoms. I'm seeing a urogyno on Monday to find out what exactly is causing it, but I think it probably the bladder and gravity because the urgency goes away when I'm sitting down or in bed.

frequent and irritated
I know what you mean - it is my most annoying symptom too. I don't *have* to go every few minutes but I sure *want" to. Usually I can hold on an hour or so but my bladder is very irritated. I also feel a gentle spasm/twitch really low which I assume is urethral? Mine doesn't go when I'm sitting or lying - I'm just trying to ignore it most of the time. I'm going to a urogyn on Tuesday so hopefully will have a better picture of where things are.
Has anyone had this and had it go? Any hints on what helps this symptom in particular (along with the posture, obviously, though that makes me want to pee too!)?

Walking Helps *Smiles*
This is so strange ladies, but I was so flustered over this potty problem that I went outside and started walking in posture around my yard. And what do you know! The sudden urge to wee passed off. Oh and the postman just delivered my WW bundle. I can't wait to start reading about and following the program. I am so ready to get my life back. Since I'm not a candidate for surgery this is my light at the end of that long, dark tunnel. My daughters had encouraged me to take a look at the Whole Woman site. I also had three friends that told me take a look at the WW site. I am so happy that I did. I feel like this site is empowering. I don't feel alone and disheartened any more. Thanks to all for the support and welcome that you have given me.

I am so glad you found
I am so glad you found something that helped you. I am waiting for the delivery of my WW bundle too and trying hard to be patient. I am just getting over a kidney infection. I noticed that at night I was feeling achy in the kidney area and my back and not overly full in terms of my bladder so I decided to check it out and am know taking antibiotics. I hope this will not be a reoccuring problem for me as a result of these prolapses. Let us know how things workout.

I too had that when i first got my POP--it was awful!
the first thing that really helped was accupuncture--it got rid of the worst of it. Then I went on an anti inflammatory diet, and it really helped to clear the rest. i still pee more than most, but i also drink a ton, always have, so i pee more. but my bladder is properly full most of the time.
recently i haven't been eating nearly as well, eating more inflammatory foods, and the urge to pee more is back..definitely a connection.
if you put anti inflammatory diet into the search engine you'll come up with threads...
also be sure you empty your bladder fully. if you are prone to infections be sure to pee once a day on all fours in the shower or over a bowl. when you pee, lean forward, lift off the seat, and let your bladder fall forwards to then get the last bits out...

Welcome Angel2me
Welcome Angel2me. So sorry to hear that you have had a kidney infection. Not nice. Did the doctor just go on your symptoms or did s/he have a pathology test done to confirm it? Any way, I hope you are soon feeling better. I would also be taking a course of probiotic for a month or so after you finish the antibiotics, to balance your gut microflora and prevent any resulting thrush affecting your vulval area.
For me, the mastering of Wholewoman work has meant the end of urinary tract infections and thrush, so I suspect you will be less susceptible from now on, too. With WW posture your urethral opening is more inside the vagina because the urethra is pulled further in and up, where it is safer from gut bacteria that might contaminate your vulva from your anus, or indirectly from your knickers.

HI Louise, Thanks for your
HI Louise,
Thanks for your support. I ended up having to go to the hospital yesterday. I was in so much pain. Apparently the doctor that first treated me three days earlier gave me the wrong medication. I thought I was having a reaction to the drugs but all this time it wasn't doing anything to help. So my kidney infection was getting worse all that time. I am now on the proper antibiotics and I am praying that I have a good nights sleep. I have not been able to sleep well at all this past week. I have to get some probiotics into me but with the Thanksgiving holiday every thing is closed so it will have to wait untol Tuesday. Thanks for your concern. Your amazing.

Hi Kikik this kidney
Hi Kikik this kidney infection has knocked me out. I haven't slept well for the past week. The pain and pressure on my abdomen is so bad even Tylenol is not helping. I will look into the anit inflammatory diet. Thank you for the suggestions.
