When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

really bad advice
at some point early in my prolapse journey I went out and had a few drinks. Just a few. But for a couple of blissful hours I was not aware of any sensation in my vagina at all.
When you first learn about your prolapse it seems like you get a super sense. You feel everything. And you can't stop. Everything hurts- everything chafes- new celes pop in and new symptoms develop.
I broke the cycle with some adult beverage. I realized I was hyper-focused on my entire vulva/vagina.
So, I'm not saying ignore symptoms that are troublesome or need a doctor type- but give yourself permission to forget about it for a little while.
Have a drink :)

Another point
Hey, Ladies...
I have on and off urethra pain...I learned to ignore it, it is not too intense.
Needed a long time to figure it out (docs are hopeless, I don't even try anymore), but I realized it is from the scar tissue in my vagina, close to the urethra. For some reason (weather?, lack of sex?, being on my feet since forever?) the scar pulls more, I feel the pain more.
Do you have scars? (epi, tear, bad stitches) Those can cause some pulling kind of pain.
Sex helps a lot! If it is getting worse, I ask hubby to "fix it"! ;)

Urethra
Hi,
I recently had the feeling like I had a UTI (Urine tract Infection), I had the desire to urinate frequently and it was like having a constant uncomfortable pressure. I was tested and did not have a UTI and of course the Doctor was no help, it was only when I asked second Dr that she told me there is such a thing as Trigonitis. It is a slight inflammation of the area that causes the feelings you described. I had the symptoms for a month and now they have subsided dramatically. I also have a VERY slight anterior and posterior wall weakness and I do think it has something to do with it. I took chinese herbs in pill form to clear the bladder and flushed as much as I could. I must also say that it is very interesting that the symptoms started to go as I found this web site and started to practice better pelvic posture.
I hope that helps, I know I was extremely distress when this happened to me and I felt so lost and helpless. I must admit that what someone else said helps also, it is good to try and NOT focus on the area as I think it creates more stress for us.
Oh yes, and acupuncture in the area was a help as well.
GOOD LUCK! xxxxxx

Just Waiting It Out
Thanks Ladies....I have decided to wait it out. The back pain is a little better this a.m. Seems to be mostly on the side where I have the bulging disc. The urethra pain is still there. Not when I urinate, but afterwards like a dull pain as if something has been pulled. I am 59 and have an old epi. It was done poorly and I have always had issues. I think walking and using the posture does help. And you are right docs are no help at all. As for having a drink. I have a nice bottle of Monkey Bay chilled and at the ready... As for sex. That was put on hold years ago due to hubby having high blood pressure and his meds have caused impotence. Since he has heart issue Viagra and those options are out of the question. I have read that sex can help a lot of these symptoms. So take advantage ladies. The natural cures are always the best. *smiles* Rose

Healing Crisis?
Have you improved your diet lately? I had for 1 1/2 years before I felt prolapse symptoms, and it turned out that my body felt stoked enough with new wonderful nutrition to start replacing old toxic cells with new healthy ones at such a rate that it traumatized my entire urinary tract which was struggling way overtime to get rid of all this junk pouring into my blood. I think the urethra took it the worst and was very painful. The doctor had no idea what was going on, though the naturopath followed me the whole way cheering. It has slowly subsided except for occasional lesser bouts. and I know my body is working to make me stronger.
It turns out that many of what I thought were prolapse symptoms was really healing crisis. So I am thankful to have confronted my mild prolapse before it got worse. Thank you all, especially creative, thorough Christine!
But no where in the healing crisis or prolapse literature on the internet did I hear mention of what happened to me. It has been seven months of symptoms, mostly painful!

trigonitis
Hi Miss Polly
If you google trigonitis you will probably find like I did that it is something that medicine has recently discovered (given a name to), and can demonstrate graphically with microscopic sections . They know that everyone doesn't have it, and a few other things, but they do not consider it serious enough to treat and do not like cutting it out (thankfully) in younger women. I get the impression that they have only coined a word for it in the last less than 5 years. I wonder what it was before that? Sore urethra, perhaps? What has changed? Nothing.
So you don't have a serious condition, from the sound so things, but it is not much help to you if it cannot be treated. I would be looking at low inflammation diet etc.
sorry I cannot be further help.
Louise
