When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

back pain
I had this a lot at the beginning. not fun! But that, along with the worst of the frequency, disapeared with treatment from a great accupuncturist. & the back pain has never returned. the frequency gets mildly worse if i eat inflammatory foods, but never as bad as it was....

Posture was exhausting
When I started the WW program (posture and excercise) I had low back pain on and off. My muscles were so weak (since I spent 28 years hanging from my bones and slouch all the time, I literally had no muscle strength on my back), I took time to build up strength. Now my muscles are strong enough to stabilize my spine, pain is away.
How low is the pain actually? I've read here on the forums that many ladies with a rectocele have tailbone pain, I guess you have problem in the lumbosacral area.
It'll get better, just alternate excercise and posture with quality rest!

lower back pain and strong shoulders
I have found that low back pain is related to trying to get my pelvis to tip forward, so the muscles at the base of my spine tighten up. If I get into posture by lifting my chest and growing tall instead, I do not get the back pain.
BTW, it has all become a lot easier over the last 12 months, since I have been doing a lot of veil work with bellydance. Getting my arms up and moving them around a lot has strengthened my shoulder girdle a lot, making it easier to straighten my upper back. Getting my upper back straighter has widened my lumbar curve and my pelvis tips forward effortlessly.
Pump chiffon, not iron! (Phooey, what is Louise, some sort of wimp? You try dancing with a veil for 15 minutes and see whether you still think dancing with 3 metres of chiffon is a breeze!)

Pain Is My Middle Name
Hi Ladies....I have a bulging disc so I am putting some of the blame on that isse. But the pain from that never really lasts as long as this. SO....I think I may have been over zealous in my beginning of the WW program. Yes, I went around with my butt stuck out at a most extreme angle. I am still having some trouble getting into the posture. I tend to be a bit sway back. Had to stop my beginning excercises until the pain settles a little. But I am still doing some basic stretches to keep the lower back loose. Oh Louise...by the by....I tried some of the hip drops and slides. Oh My! That is very hard work. Of course I would not even think to try the tilt & tuck. I'm afraid things would go south for sure. *smiles* I can just imagine that veiling would be a real challenge. So knowing that pain is my middle name for a while I have decided that taking it slow is the way I will have to approach my WW journey. I am still having a flare with IBS-D, but I am sure that things will settle down and come around at their own pace. With the WW program I am learning to listen to my body. With time comes healing. Take care all..... ((hugs)) Rose
