When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

constant urge to wee
HI Tillymama,
oh that is so annoying--huge sympathies!
I had that horribly after DS was born--it was awful. Accupuncture really really helped me, and got it manageable, though not perfect.
Then, a while later, I went on an anti inflammatory diet (put in search box, threads will come up on it) and it really helped the last bits of that. Lately I started eating not great again, and it came back more. ugh! but I'm back on track and it's helping. Also I've had this ridiculous thirst at the moment (like need to check blood sugars, 6 glasses an hour thirst) which is driving me crazy, but on a good note it's really stretched my bladder out and when i pee, it's cause i really need to! Made me remember that when i had the irritable bladder, drinking lots was actually better than not drinking at all...
re the twitch sensation, that i haven't experienced, but maybe someone else will have...

I had almost forgotten the
I had almost forgotten the irritation with others factor of prolapse. When I first learned about mine, I was so annoyed and snappy. That was after I got over the general shock and after I stopped getting in bed as soon as dh got home. The little irritation with everyone lasted quite some time. I would almost not realize I was doing it, and it was not until it went away that I realized just how mean I had been. It just messes with you to have this constant irritation all day long, compounded by the anxiety of wondering if it's going to be a good day or a bad day, added to that the frustration of little things seeming bothersome but necessary...like unloading the dishwasher or getting the clothing out of the dryer.
I have not had the urgency you describe. I know it helps me feel good to empty my bladder while standing in the shower and to pee whilst on hands and knees before I go to bed at night. When I started running I had the feeling I needed to pee and it was very persistant- and if I stopped I did pee a normal amount. I started ignoring it, figuring it would either go away, get worse, or I would pee myself (after all I just wanted an hour or so of running with out stopping)- it went away. It took a few weeks and it was annoying.
So much of bladder control is nerves. Sometimes there is a pretty big disconnect in the messages they send. I think that's where the bladder retraining ideas come in.

bladder retraining
I forgot about that--thanks for reminding me!
I did (and still do) make a point of, when at home, going as long as possible w/o peeing...when out and about i'm not quite so brave-- I don't want to get stuck on a tube train desperate to pee! (the joys of living in a big city...). So i pee more than i otherwise would, just in case. Not great, but I try to balance it with when i'm home, i wait. I do pee a lot, but I drink a lot, so I let amount be a guide to what's going on rather than how often.
so maybe working with that might help, as that can help to remind your body that you can wait to pee, and help your bladder to remember how stretched it can get...

Weeing and twitching
Tillymama, that's EXACTLY what I feel. It feels like a slight spasm when I get up from a chair or the couch, or if I bend over to pick something up. I think I actually might be leaking a little then, too. It was really bad directly postpartum, then after a couple of months it lessened, but since having a UTI last week it's back in full force. I noticed a slight urine odor in my nether-regions since last week that hasn't been there for quite a while, so I think it's because, to misquote Sir Elton John, "The Twitch is Back". UGH!!! It is so frustrating. I have to pee all the time, I have the twitch/spasm with certain movements, and I feel like my urethra is constantly being tickled by something. I haven't found any relief from the problem, so I have no advice. I would be much less uncomfortable if the spasms would stop.

EFT?
I'm wondering if EFT could help with the annoying twitch...
It's out there, but it is powerful stuff. have a look here for a good video on how to do it
http://www.judybyrne.co.uk/#
you have to stick with it, but i've been amazed at the results...
re infection, christinabf are you peeing on all fours at least once a day? if you are prone to infections, morning and night might be good, and being sure when you pee to then lean over, lift off the seat, and see if more comes...
but have a look at the EFT. might just help...(nothing to lose except a bit of time...recommended to set aside 5 to 10 minutes 2x a day to do it)

bladder training
I found this pdf file in an ask.com search for "steps to training the bladder"
http://www.hkuga.org.hk/EBladderTraining.pdf. I have recently seen many references to "retraining" the bladder. I hope this may be helpful to you with your constant urge. Just to chim in with the others. After eighteen months of WW posture, better diet, and exercise, I can go nearly six hours at a time without urges.
