The February Whole Woman Village Post is out

Body:

hello all,

just a note to let you know the feb WW Village Post is up. click on the "village news" link at the top of this page. as usual, there are three new articles. the feature this month is a powerful article by leigh fortson, a long time writer on alternative health issues who is herself a cancer survivor.

additionally, in her monthly column, christine has put up a link to the podcast she recorded with liz koch, who is an expert on the psoas muscle, author of a couple of books and many articles. she is very interested in christine's work and it's an interesting interview (about an hour).

the scientific paper review this month is on the evolution of the hip and pelvis. this is a very important paper in that it provides support for the heart of the whole woman work, that the male/female spines and hips are quite different and that the lumbar curve is what allows the female pelvis to remain in its essentially quadrapedal position while allowing women to maintain bipedal posture.

we've also set up a new forum called Post-Surgery. this forum is for women who have had various types of pelvic surgery (other than hysterectomy).

be sure to check out the WWV Post articles. more information on the guest authors can be found in the resources section of the library.

cheers,

lanny (DH and chief technology officer of WW)

Thank you Christine, Ianny & the WW team for this wonderful resource.
I have saved, forwarded & printed off a number of articles. These have been extremely useful for my understanding POP issues, the underlying anatomy & physiology system, the fantastic complex dynamics of the human system as a whole, implications for treatment options & health practices.
They have also been a useful resource to discuss & inform others. Sharing & caring will bring about positive change.
