When getting better feels worse

Body:

Hi whole women,

Just a query to some of those long standing members who've had some long term improvement of cystoceles/ urethroceles.

Six odd months into whole woman work and I've had my best month ever: two solid weeks of my urethrocele staying firmly inside all the time. ( No, I'm not walking around clenched - I'm doing a lot of walking, housework and paperwork actually.) Yes I know - I'm not counting chickens and I'm touching wood etc - and it's the second half of my cycle which is always better - but this is measurable improvement. ( When I say measurable, I hasten to add that I am not sad enough to reach into my fanny with a tape measure - I just make a note of good and bad and middling pop days in my diary!)

When I've had a 'peeking' patch in the past, the warning sign has always been that I felt fine: couldn't feel a thing. Conversely, when it's tucked in and behaving itself, it feels - not painful or heavy but obtrusively lumpy. I supppose this makes sense: a small, very localised urethrocele that lives right by the introitus would create hardly any sensation if it was hanging down like a small deflated balloon, but feel worse if it was tucked up and experiencing pressure from the posterior wall. Any one else had this experience? It feels enouraging.

Hi Doubtful

It does seem strange, but your explanation is plausible. I am trying to visualise the orientation of your bladder and urethrocele, and why it feels lumpy when it is tucked away. Maybe it needs stretching out a bit?

I described for 2Girls last night, in her topic, "Cystocele and Mild Pelvic Pain, Normal?" an exercise I use to stretch the front of my body. It was in my response, entitled "Breastfeeding". I can really feel a pulling up sensation in my vagina when I do it. I would think it could be a useful exercise for lengthening the urethra.
