tilted uterus

Body:

I am so thankful that I found this site. I have been reading through the posts and have already learned so much. Christine, I have also ordered your book and am looking forward to reading it.

I am 45 and just discovered that I have a prolapse of some sort. I haven't been to my OB yet, but am thankful to have this information before I go.

I downloaded the page on posture and just started practicing it. I must admit that I am having to retrain my thinking on wanting a "flat stomach." I have spent years tucking in my stomach and pelvis (pelvic tuck) and creating a flat back. I thought that would make me look better.

My question is in reference to curving my back so that my organs are toward my pubic bone. I have a tilted uterus. I think that means instead of facing forward, it faces or leans toward my back. Do I still want to curve my back or would that be shifting my uterus even more over the opening in my pelvis?

Thanks again for all of your work and research to help us.

Cindy

Welcome Cindy,

I'm glad you found us too, and I hope you will join us in the work. Regardless of which way your uterus is tilting, we are going to try to move it as much toward the front as possible. This posture moves the intraabdominal energies into their natural pathway. How much those energies will serve to reposition the organs will vary with each woman. We need all the feedback we can get and I so hope you will commit to the work and keep us posted!

Wishing you well,

Christine

Thanks, Christine. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
