Curves excercise program

I am a long-time member of Curves and excercise 3-5 times a week. I have recently been diagnosed with a dropped bladder and found this web site while looking for information on the subject.

I am now wondering if the Curves program is beneficial to my new diagnosis or if it is hurtful. Has anyone had this experience?

I have looked in the window and a local Curves but all I saw was equipment set around in a circle, so I can't speak about it one way or the other. However, we talk with many women who develop prolapse while involved in various exercise programs.

From our perspective, preventing prolapse is all about maintaining the natural shape of the female spine, from which the organs are suspended. We call this the Whole Woman posture, which you can find described on YouTube. If you haven't been maintaining a healthy lumbar curve while exercising, it's possible your pelvic organs have been at risk of prolapsing.
