post-rectocele repair prolapse

Body:

I have had rectocele repair and still have a prolapse, I think it's my uterus. Will the book Saving the Whole Woman be of any value to me?

I am wondering also if the book is just another help book with a big price or if it will really help me. From the comments I read it sounds like I can really benefit from it. There is certainly no quick fix, I guess.

Hi Daphne

I have read a lot of help books in my time. This is the only one I keep on my desk. It is so comprehensive. It is not a motivational book. It is about history and anatomy and what happens to a woman's body during her life. It is very well referenced. It is an information book, rather than a help book, and is written by a stubbornly independent thinker who does not have to reconcile her beliefs with a flawed medical model, that even doctors admit is not providing women with good solutions. The woman has to help herself, and can help herself. There is stuff in the book that you will not find anywhere else.

This book is an investment in your body's future, not a cost to your pocket.

The motivation comes from these Forums. so glad you have joined us.

I had been doing readingandmorereading for a few weeks, until I read Christine's book and watched the DVD. You will find so much common sense knowledge and information in this book, that you will truly need no other book. Knowledge is power, and once you read this book, you will find that your ability to ask the right questions of your surgeons and of others, improves exponentially!! Our bodies are truly "unified," even with changes and problems. Also, you will find that you can cope so much better with the support of other women, through this Forum, and through your community of women.
