resurrecting sex

Body:

just want to superquick share for any of you who may have struggled with getting back into sex like I did: I have found a wonderful book called 'resurrecting sex' by David Schnarch. Strangely, he doesn't even mention prolapse, but he does tackle the problem of couples who have had all kinds of other emotional, physical or medical problems that have made sex difficult physically and/or emotionally. The book has a lot of practical worth and works with attitude and communication, not just working on sex, but on the whole relationship so that good sex has good foundations.

Hi Squeak

thanks so much for sharing your enthusiasm for this book on the Forums. Christine is often looking for articles to put in the Village Post. I reviewed Esther Gokhale's book, 8 Steps to a Pain Free Back, for The Post, some time ago. I am sure Christine would love it if you would do a brief review of the book for The Village Post.

We so often buy books from the Internet, and particularly with newer books, it is often not possible to thumb through them before buying them.

If this book is as good as you say it is, our Members need to know about it.

If anyone else has read really inspiring books or books they have found particularly helpful, please write a brief revew of the book and submit it to The Post for publication.

Thank you - I'm going to look that up today!
I've found sex helpful for uterine prolapse. Sexual healing rocks!

That name sounded familiar so I consulted Saving The Whole Woman. In the Sex chapter, Christine discusses David Schnarch and refers to his book "Passionate Marriage" as "one of the most important books of our time".

Louise, I think it's a reat idea to have boo reviews and I'd love to write up one for resurrecting sex, but I'm so snowed under right now it's honestly not going to happen for a t least six months: so if anyone else is up to it: please do!

That's OK. It was just a suggestion. Many of our Members are too busy to do reviews.

Everyone, keep posting your comments about books or other resources that you have found useful. If you feel up to a full review please let us know.
