Resting positions

Body:

I don't know if this helps - but lately because of my tailbone pain and having to work I tend to use my laptop on my bed - either laying on my side propped on one elbow - or - on knees leaning forward onto elbows while working and swapping between these positions.
I have noticed a 'stirring' in the colon/rectum and that it seems to be more likely I will get the urge in these positions more often than sitting in an office chair. That urge usually results in a stronger peristalsis (is that the right word) or contraction to help things work more effectively. Just a thought x

These are positions where the belly is relaxed, and there is no gravity causing downward pressure on the pelvic organs. It makes sense to me. The elbows and knees position is the equivalent to firebreathing or my jiggling position.

Another aspect of it is that you are engrossed in your computer work, so you are not in a hurry to rush off and do something else, thinking, "I wish this poo would hurry up!!!" You are actually 'in the moment', which is a nice place to be.

If it works, who cares why?
