When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Pain is the way your body communicates!
If it hurts ease off- rest up- try again later.....
are you taking care to lift your chest? Pull up through the crown of your head?

Posture
Yes! Could the pain come from being in posture most of the day, which I am not used to?

getting used to posture
Dear HappyMama
Before I began WW posture, I was in the habit of slouching. I didn’t always. In fact, as a young teenager I remember being congratulated on my straight posture, and it was pointed out to me that I was in that unlike others of a similar age around me. I certainly didn’t tuck my tummy in, nor bend my shoulders forward in a despairing attitude.
After my first child, I developed uterine prolapse and suffered back ache and started to stand more on one leg, balancing child on hip etc. My posture was changed.
Somewhere in my early thirties, I seemed to lose strength from my upper body. I had had some hard work, illness and some disappointments like most of us and perhaps life had made me weary. I found when I stood, I was back level on two feet, but that I was often standing with hands on hips as if propping my shoulders and spine up. Was it possible that my back was no longer strong enough to hold myself erect for any length of time?
My forties posture seemed ok.
In my fifties I gained greater strength, just through age, greater self-confidence, more opportunity for exercise, a better appetite and putting on weight. This is when I started sucking my stomach in to hide my big tummy.
At sixty I broke my hip and was immobile only briefly, but after that I was not as certain and strong in the legs. I believe I looked down a lot and minced!
A few years later when finding WW posture, I found it hard to do. The strength was not there in my legs and back and shoulders. I realised I had been slouching in order to avoid the backache of standing and sitting straight. The posture caused me to tire and could give me back ache, but not like the ones I had suffered before. As I persisted in the posture, I have found my strength returned and the posture no longer tires me, or gives me backache.
My posture needed correction for it was causing me pain. The WW posture more or less pulled me the other way; a different strain on my muscles until they got used to it. It has developed my strength to hold the posture tirelessly and pain free.
I hope this makes sense
Best wishes Fab

yes it could
it is very important that you rest well while you are starting this program. Listen to your body. Soreness is not the same thing as pain. Let your strength build gradually. You have the rest of your life! Do a little more each day than the day before.
Also, I strongly recommend massage if you can afford it.

Posture
Dear Fab and Alemama,
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond!
I think extreme sports (for 30 years) and office job (for 18 years) have taken their toll in relation to my posture. I consider myself very strong and sometimes just don't know how to stop and therefore I overdo things. Ever since I received the dvd (about a month ago), I've been doing all of the exercises. I've been out of the loop (in terms of intense physical activities) for 3 years, since my daughter was born, so, maybe I just need to take it easier. Alemama: I just realized, that I also mostly stand on one leg :-)II
I will try to work on my patience :-)
Thanks again, ladies and stay strong!
