Excersize dos and donts?

I am almost eight weeks postpartum with a cystocele and rectocele. I am wanting to start to exercise but I'm not sure which exercises I should avoid. I am doing the book exercises (1st edition)but would like to add more. Are squats, push ups and plank pose ok?

Zanzibar, since you are new here, my suggestion is that you need to concentrate on making WW posture principles something like second nature...which takes time and effort. Only then can you truly judge whether or not a particular exercise move is going to be helpful or harmful for your prolapse. Meanwhile, you can get tons more safe moves from Christine's videos (1st Aid for Prolapse, and the yoga vids). Maybe some other exercise experts can come on here and suggest more safe moves. Being only 8 weeks PP means that you have plenty to do already, and you'll get all the exercise your body needs at this point, just by carefully going about your day in correct posture. - Surviving60
