When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

uterine prolapse
Hi junehy2831,
I had debilitating uterine prolapse last year, so empathise a lot! I know I certainly felt low and demoralised when my progress wasn't progressing well and sometimes was progressing backwards! Over time though I have made good progress and look and feel so much better. Please hang on in there. It's a holistic practical approach, which does take and practice before getting result. Explore working with the ww exercises and fire breathing and find out what works for you. Whole woman posture is key to this work; try to maintain whole woman posture as much as possible. Diet and healthy digestion and elimination is another important factor, so maintaining an appropriate diet and healthy life style are also part of the treatment plan. I found my mental and emotional health was an important aspect of getting better. Well I was an emotional wreck for a while! I would highly recommend the WW book and dvd's. There are 3 dvd's to choose from now and there's some advice on the ww website about which one might suit you best. Check out the rest of this site too - there's masses of info and advice there.
Re the sponges. I guess they suit some people and not others. I'm quite surprised sometimes about how different things suit different women. I don't know why really since we're all different and prolapse experiences can vary greatly. For example, I find I really need to do a ww 20'-30' p/day otherwise my symptoms rapidly get worse, whilst I hear other women are ok with fire breathing and ww posture. One of the aspects I like about ww is that we can explore for ourselves what works and what doesn't.
Re. gently pushing up the cervix with your finger not working for you. I'm not sure about this. One thing to bear in mind regarding pelvic organ prolapse is that the organs exist in a fairly fluid environment and things can change. So if you had difficulty moving the cervix up once doesn't mean it'll always be that way. It may that another time it is able to move up.
Certainly movements which move the pelvic organs forwards can help. For example, the cat position in yoga; on your hands and knees moves the abdomen and pelvic organs forwards. Then put your forearms on the floor to exaggerate this. You can relax the abdomen on an inhale and draw the abdomen back towards the spine on an exhale. This will helo to move the orgnas forwards and upwards. Maybe try gently pushing the cervix up after doing this position - or even in this position. See what happens at that point in time. Please remember just because something didn't seem terribly effective one time doesn't mean to say it won't be effective over a period of time or another time. It may take time for the body to change.
Thank you for sharing this - I'd be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts about this too.
Good luck on your journey. xwholewomanuk

thank you, I did start doing
thank you, I did start doing the downward dog and the cat pose as well. Weird though afterwards all my body wants to do is quif ( if thats the sp) I have never done this before.. not something I ever experienced only heard about and OMG Its weird LOL.. I guess maybe that meant it was moving? I checked after I did like 30 mins of this stuff and it looked further back. I haven't checked today but I vacuumed the floor on my hands and knees practicing the cat pose off and on. Vacuumed it with the hose LOL
What is ww 20-30p/day? I still don't have the books yet so Not sure what this it.
