Hi Everyone,
Well, I think “Cosmic Alignment” was the theme of this, our first WW Conference. Thank you so very much to all who joined us. Everyone we asked said she got what she came for, which is what we were so hoping to hear.
We have an real Yogini in our WW Family (Christina Ports for all whom may have met her) and an actual Shaman (Nannette Chisholm) opened and closed the Conference, and created an indescribably beautiful and powerful “Despacho Ceremony” in which at least 24 of us participated here at the WW Center on Saturday night.
There was more to see and do and learn than women actually had time for, and several people said they were sorry they had to choose between sessions, but we wanted to provide the most information-packed weekend possible, and I think we succeeded.
The Conference was preceded by the Whole Woman Teachers Practicum week, an astonishing time of sharing and discovery. We now have four brilliant and experienced WW teachers who are ready to see clients on the east coast, USA, Australia and the UK. Please go to the WWCenter in the Village square and follow the links on the bulletin board for more information.
It just so happened (we didn’t plan it this way!) that Friday was also my 60th birthday. I could not have asked for a more awesome way to spend this important transition in my life. After the graduation ceremony and a few words from me, we gathered for a lovely mixer where everyone got to meet and chat with everyone else. Hotel Albuquerque did a marvelous job with food and logistics. It is a lovely place - classic New Mexican in every way. We will have a dvd of the Conference available for those who want more insight into how it all went. My heart is so full and it was actually hard to leave everyone on Sunday.
However...what awaited us was the spectacular solar eclipse, which was actually a very rare and special alignment of the moon, sun and the constellation Pleiades. We gathered on the rooftop terrace of Hotel Parq Central, just up the street from the WWCenter. Our Shaman was with us, as were a number of dear friends including Louise, and my daughter and granddaughter. Oh my word, it was an experience I will never forget - the quality of the light, the champagne, and being surrounded by all these beautiful souls to witness such a powerful cosmic event.
Then we walked back home, stopping by to order local artisan pizza for a crowd, to gather in our courtyard for a late-night party with music and lots of cheer. Full heart, full heart - thank you Miraculous Universe!
Louise and her lovely husband, Ken, dropped by this morning before heading up to Santa Fe and we were so blessed to have another visit with them over waffles, our famous “drinkie” and tea.
Please know what a joy it was to meet Surviving60, whom I happened to glimpse on my cell phone was still responding to posts even from the Conference!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Surviving for all your help these past many weeks and months. Regretfully, however, I hardly saw you throughout the weekend! Louise and I both commented that somehow we missed seeing you in breakout sessions. Worst of all, I didn’t get to give you, our forum angel, a good-bye hug!!
The only major glitch in the whole affair was that I was terribly remiss in not publicly thanking my wonderful assistant Amy for creating this event. It was really Amy’s conference and I cannot express my gratitude for her hard work, brilliant connections, and organization skills putting it all together. She was dealing with a family tragedy that occurred two days before it all began, and carried on anyway through the whole weekend with courage and grace. Thank you, Amy, with all my heart!! When you return we have a special present for you.
My daughter and husband worked like mad throughout, as our budget required they take care of audio-visual on their own (with one hired cameraman who got a major dose of TMI - LOLOLOL).
So many women mentioned they are coming next year - some bringing daughters, sisters, etc. Please consider joining us also for this beautiful revolution in women’s health.
Love and light!

Thanks to all!!
Well Christine, words seem inadequate in any attempt to describe the greatness of this event! It was a complete joy and honor just to be in the company of all these great folks. You, Amy, your family, your newly-certified teachers, it was just all a bit much to take in. Just an all-around amazing weekend. On the forum, it was all I could do not to say “OK ladies, we’re here, look what you’re missing!” I know this was a hard trip to make, impossible for some, and for each of us who was fortunate enough to be there, dozens more would have been there if they could. Maybe next year. Request a new camera guy next time…let’s see how many more men we can educate!! Love you all!!!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks so much, Surviving. I just had to take my dh to the airport as he's off on a business trip. House feels so empty - but heart is full as I await his return. It was a glorious time and I miss seeing everyone already. So hope Louise, WholewomanUK, and the other teachers can join us again - if not every year, then occasionally as they are like family now. We will be providing scholarships next year for women who can't afford to come. ♥ ♥

2012 Women's Conference
I also want to congratulate the new W.W.Teachers. I wish I could have made it. It sounds like it was absolutely amazing. I' m glad to hear that you will be having a DVD of the Conference for sale. I bet it would be worth the investment. By the way "Happy Belated Birthday Christine".

conference
Thanks much, Chicka and Jaylove! We'll put some of the conference up on YouTube. Too much to describe...posture, food, sex, clothing, flamenco, spoken word, etc. etc...
I have a funny story tho..
A couple of days before the conference Amy got a call from a woman with a newly discovered prolapse (we always think we're the only ones). When she found out where we are located she said, "What??...You're in ALBUQUERQUE??" When Amy told her our address she said, "What??...You're ACROSS THE STREET from me??" When she asked if she could make an appointment, Amy said, "You could...but this weekend we're having this wonderful conference...", to which the woman replied, "What??...You're having a CONFERENCE THIS WEEKEND on BLADDERS??"
Anyway, she is a delightful neighbor who came to the conference and also happened to be sitting with her husband next to us on the rooftop watching the eclipse. I hope we become great friends...some things are just meant to be! :)

That is amazing. Finding WW
That is amazing. Finding WW was in its own way a pretty spiritual/miracle-esque event for me too.

The jetlag is clearing ...
Well, here I am again, back in the land of gum trees (eucalylpts). No, i don't mean California. I mean Western Australia. Not a pinon or a juniper, or a mountain to be seen. In New Mexico the bedrock is deeply buried in the earth. In Western Australia the bedrock is the hills, either poking out of the sides or on top, or not too far underneath our feet. That's how old this continent is.
Grand Canyon, AZ, you are very, very big and grandiose, beautiful and awesome to take in, but you are very, very young and inexperienced. (Wow! Did I just say that?)
Our town, York, has had the coldest minimum temperature in the State several times in the last couple of weeks. The tips of the jacaranda tree outside my office window are tipped from the frost a few nights ago. We are hanging out for some rain to kick the newly planted crops along. There is still only a tinge of green in the paddocks. I am still lusting for Albuquerque's lovely warm spring weather and counting down the sleeps until our winter solstice, when the days will start lengthening again, and spring will be a little closer. But before that there will be rain, and mud. Lots of both, I hope.
I learned so much from our Practicum week for Teacher Training and from the Conference. I met such wonderful people and had so many insights about posture and prolapse management. Thankyou to every woman who came along to the Conference, and worked with their bodies and taught us so much.
Thankyou Speakers, for taking us outside ourselves and giving us pause for thought.
We have been given so much information as Trainee Teachers over the last eight months. If you really want to know the whole story on prolapse management I heartily recommend that you do the next Teacher Training course. There is much work to do out there in Womanland, and so few of us who are equipped to do it. I dream of a time when women the whole world over will be living Wholewoman techniques 24/7, and it will once again be mainstream women's culture to use our bodies as women always have throughout 'herstory'.
We teachers will then be able to retire gracefully and spend the rest of our days sitting under trees, being wise. In ya dreams!

Welome home, and thanks...
Welcome home, Louise, and many thanks Soul-sister for the birthday wishes. It was a wonderful time and I so look forward to next year. I loved our time together, Louise!! Lanny and I took a short-but-sweet trip up north this weekend to punctuate the end of a long conference-planning project and the beginning of a busy summer. So very much to come and I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this glorious community and work. Hope to see everyone back next year. :)

DH/Flaxseed oil
Dear Christine, I have read in past post about this product that you recommended for lubrication or vaginal dryness. I'm not sure if you are talking about two products here- DHA and Flaxseed oil or a combination of DHA and flaxseed oil. Our healthfood store does not have this product but they have Flaxseed oil and Carlson's Fish oil. Could you please explain what you mean please?? Thanks so much.
Hugs, Jaylove

DHA/flax oil
Hi Jaylove,
Well...since then I've learned that post-menopausal vaginal dryness is best treated by recreating a more reproductive-aged micro-environment. I started with probiotics, but eventually found that a pea-size bit of raw, local honey applied high in the vagina twice a day gives the best results. This calls in the local microflora, which normalize vaginal tissues - resolving burning, itching and dryness. However, if you want more lubrication or anti-inflammatory properties, Udo's DHA/flax oil is a wonderful product. Swish a teaspoon around in your mouth for three minutes once a day, for healthier teeth and gums as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTINE
What a wonderful Birthday you had on your first Conference! I am only a Month or so new WW and wanted so badly to attend the Conference, but just couldn't do it this year. I am already planning for next year's. I am so excited to be part of WW, and the decision not to have surgery saved me, phyically and emotionally. To have surgery, I would have to have been at total peace with it, and I wasn't. I want to thank you Christine, from the bottom of my heart for being there for me, and all the wonderful women who need your gifts of healing. Coming across your website was a God-Send. My Birthday wish for you is to reach the masses of women, who haven't found your website, who are stuck in their world of concern and fear of what is happening to their bodies, and don't know yet that there is a better way than surgery. Bless you XOXO
