Christine is taking a break from the forums...

Body:

Hi Wholewomen!

I want to let you know that I’m beginning work on a new book about the hip joints. It is a daunting task, given that the entire world of orthopedic medicine is convinced the pelvis and hip joints are rotated backward at least 45 degrees! It is quite bizarre, actually, and I constantly feel like I’m living in an alternate universe. Orthopedics is at least as dysfunctional as gynecology and we, as human beings, *must* come up with something better than amputation of our precious and irreplaceable hip joints for the extremely common (postural!) condition of osteoarthritis.

So...I won’t be available on the forums much for the foreseeable future and hope everyone (newbies included!) will help support each other. The moderators can only give so much and certainly can’t be expected to provide 7/24 personal consultation. Please use the search function to find topics of interest - we’ve been going strong for almost a decade and virtually every subject around prolapse and incontinence (and many more under the sun!) has been discussed time and time again.

I’m hoping this will be a “summer” project - but it very well may take me into next year.

Lots of love - and keep moving!

Christine

This makes my day, Christine! My hips love WW posture, and I am thankful for my prolapse because it brought me to this work. I can't imagine a more important project than what you are taking on. I salute you. - Surviving

Good luck to you Christine! If anyone can do this, you are the one.

I wish you all the best on your new book and can't wait until it will be available! Thank you so much for all that you have done for all of us and for the comments you have given to me personally. I am so thankful for this site, for your work and for the home you have created here for women in need.

All good wishes Christine.

After being told to have spinal lumbar fusion due to chronic hip pain and pelvic instability (diagnosis advanced severe disc degeneration) I have found that my hip pain is diminishing due to a lot of good work with WW posture, exercise, FSM treatment therapy, massage and trigger point therapy and particularly again, the WW posture and elongating the very contracted area ...

My right hip and pelvis have always been a painful and lengthy issue for me affecting all parts of my life. I have cancelled appointments with neurosurgeon, colorectal surgeon and urogyno this month because I feel better this year than last.

Anything more which can be added to this research and understanding will be much appreciated.

Blessings x

Splendid idea on the book to help not only women but men too! I have so many family and friends who have trouble with their hips, knees, and feet some who have had surgery that are in worse shape now before they had the surgery done. Trying to rid themselves of the pain.
You are a pure heart, best of luck with the book, and may god help and guide you along in your research.

Thanks for all the well-wishes...I will certainly need them!!

Funny you should mention, Heavenly...my illustrator/daughter was just in my office stewing about the pelvic position of the penis...new territory for us!! LOL.

Hi Christine,
I agree with all of the above! Christine you are such an inspiration to us all. Having done so much and come so far with the prolapse work, I so admire you having the strength and courage to do similar work in the filed of orthodpeidcs and hip replacements. You are doing wonderful work in your life. We will miss you in the forum but there are so many wonderful women here now and there is such a wonderful resource in the forum archives, we'll cope! So many of us have benefitted so much from your work so far, I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to seeing your new body of work.
Wishing you all the best with your book and let us know if we can support you further in this endeavour.
Thank you so much. xwholewomanuk

Dear Christine, Your new Book about the Hip Joints will be a daunting task indeed. A very valuable one. I know several ladies who have had Hip-Replacement done. I've always wondered why do some women's hips have to be replaced and others do not. I questioned as to why our hips do not last us for our lifetime. After all it is our original design. I'm so glad you are taking on this work. My hope is that this book may reach many wormen out there before it is too late for them and they lose their precious Hip-Joints. All the Best to you and thank you for your work.

Hugs to you, Jaylove

Hi Takecare

Would you care to send this post of yours to Christine as an email. I am sure she will need testimonials to back up the book, when it is published. Your experience mirrors mine. I have no disc problems at all these days. Why? It has to be WW posture.

Louise

Just adding my thanks and GOOD WISHES to you for your new project .
Daphne.

Dear Christine, my hip stiffness and soreness had only just started about a month ago and i wrote about it on the forum last week and you immediately put up a video of some excercises to do. I started on them right away and to my amazement and joy my symptoms were relieved. I love doing these excercises as i am proof that they really work and i have already enthusiastically passed them on to others with hip problems.

I wish you all the best with your work on your new book and just want to say that i marvel at your courage, strength and determination with all that you do and consider myself a very fortunate person indeed to have found your website. For some reason i keep bumping into prolapsed women and i take the opportunity to tell them about ''Whole Woman''
Thankyou so much - Mishek

what a tremendous undertaking! and timing is good too - maybe along with my pelvic organs you can help me save my hips. I know that WW posture is responsible for the reduction in my creaking and squeaking and pain but there is already so much damage done. maybe I caught it in time to allow for enough regeneration? a former ortho instructor told me I'd need new hips by the time I turn 30, I'm past that now and waiting for the shoe to drop.
anyway, may G-d grant you the stamina and wisdom, support and guidance you need for this book. you already have inspiration and determination! am looking forward to the finished product :)

Dear Christine,
Best of luck with your new venture. Just would like to add, that since I do your exercises most of the time, my hips seem to be in good working order. Also, I have at least 2 daily walks, which I am sure helps as well. Yoga rules too!
And the jeans, hipsters I believe are the best!

Love & Hugs,

Always so inspirational to hear about your new projects!!!!!
Enjoy the summer writing away and exploring--Can't wait to hear more about it!
