When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Bleeding
Good morning takecare,
I am so relieved to hear that there is somebody else that has bleeding, I have gone to the emergency room on two separate occasions after seeing what seemed like alot of blood in the toilet, the first time being a year ago in June and then this year about the same time after seeing it both times I had my daughter come into the bathroom and had her to look at it just so she could tell the doctor what we both saw. Well by the time we got to the hospital the bleeding had stopped and all I was asked was when was I going to take care of my problem.
I then started to be a little bit more consience when I wiped, because my prolaspe is so far down that when I wiped the paper would rub against what I'm thinking is my cervix or what some doctors refered to the bottom of my uterus as my cervix when I did feel it it it felt mushy and kinda like for no better way to discribe it like a flower, and my other theory is and I could be wrong because my uterus is out more than in it gets dry and it sticks to the pad I wear and now when I go to the bathroom and I pull my pants down I notice where it sticks to the pad and now I notice I don't have to wipe myself for it to bleed.
Another peoblem is if I sit flat on my butt I find if I've had some bleeding it really sticks, so now if I have bleeding I have to sit on one cheek and prop pillows under my elbow.
The two different doctors that saw me at the emergency room didn't have much to say except when was I going to take care of my problem, and this time that I went he looked at me and said "oh just wear a pad" after waiting for 4 hours, I do have to give him some credit he did a bunch of test to see where I was bleeding from, and everything was negetaive.
I wish I could put something on it so it doesn't get dry and stick to my pad. Please let me know if you find something else to do to keep it from bleeding, it is very frieghtening to see what looks like alot of blood in the toilet.

Definitely urethra
Thanks for answering Heavenlyflower, I checked and it is not vagina/uterus/cervix - the blood was bright and it was at the tip of the urethra.
I did some reading online and they refer to UTI but I have not had any symptoms of UTI,
This morning I woke up busting to go but when I sat on the toilet hardly anything came out, just a trickle. The urge to go went away.
Am wondering if there is a stone or perhaps the kidneys are inflamed - I have had really bad back and hip pain but that is quite common for me, never bleeding.
So sorry to hear of your situation and hope you can get some comfort.
It absolutely amazes me how little doctors are able to give us in terms of explanation and support with what appears a fairly common condition, yet until I developed POP I had not heard of it.
Fingers crossed this is just a one off bleed.

You could wear a thin pad or panty liner and just brush some oil like almond oil or virgin coconut oil onto the surface of it so that it doesn't stick to the surface of your cervix that is outside of your vulva. There are also some sanitary napkins that have a perforated plastic cover. This might prevent it sticking. Another option might be non-stick surgical dressing. I know you can buy them at pharmacies in sterile packets. You don't need the sterile packs though. You might be able to buy this material in a roll. Another option might be a light coating of zinc cream or some other nappy rash cream, either in your vagina or on a pad. Necessity is the mother of invention.
As an older woman your vagina will be drier, and it might actually be the surface of your vagina which is bleeding. A lubricant or vaginal moisturiser might also work.

Bleed from urethra
After my bleed in the early hours of the morning ... there was blood in the water and on checking in my knickers and it was definitely the urethra.
I woke up busting to go but only a dribble.
Okay so I took a long walk in WW posture, drank heaps of water and no blood since.
I am a little nervous as my Dad died from bladder cancer, I have had a lot of UTI's in the past. I think that is because I didn't empty my bladder properly - and that was most likely due to having a cystocele but not being aware of it.
I am far more diligent about emptying properly and have not had a UTI for over a year. However I have had significant lower back, hip and leg pain lately. I decided to do a strong self massage deep into the area between hip and bladder, maybe I did some damage. Also my husband gave me a very strong massage lower back flank area, perhaps the kidneys were bruised.
Not sure about anatomy but perhaps I should be more careful ... but nothing touches the stiffness, spasm and pain of the hip like a deep massage.
Nothing like a bit of blood where it shouldn't be to start you thinking about cancer ... and doctors ... and ugh :((((

Takecare- goldenrod tea might help
Hi Takecare,
Just a small suggestion. Goldenrod tea is excellent for helping to clear/help bladder and kidney ailments. I use it when I sense any uti. Recently my DH was complaining a bit of symptoms that suggested a blockage in his waterworks. Used the tea and it has helped. Symptoms gone. Of course if it something more serious the tea will do nothing.....but it is worth a try. You can add some fennel seeds to the mix as well.

Thank you Aussielou
Thanks so much, I am clueless with the right herbs for the right job ... will find some.
Can you recommend a good brand for herbal teas?
My son also has issues with urinary problems so if it tastes reasonable maybe he will try it too.
Appreciate your comments x

Herbal teas
Hi Takecare, I use Hilde Hemmes or Southern Light Herbs.
For my red clover I prefer the HH brand because it has more leaf matter. I buy the HH Goldenrod tea too. And I just by organic fennel seeds. I like SLH for other herbs because I have spoken to them over the phone, and they operate and grow in country Victoria, and they are organic.
My usual mix is 2 teaspoons of goldenrod and 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds. Steep for 5 mins and strain. If my DH will drink this suspect your son will too. You can add a pinch of peppermint to the concoction to improve the flavour. Nice in the evenings as a relaxant .
With some herbs, they advise taking for X no of days and then having a break for a few days, but this is not the case with Goldenrod, you can use as required..
I have a great book...TEA Recipes for health and well being, by Margaret Roberts.
Wishing you well
