When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Urgency
Just common sense precautions really. Wake up early so you aren’t rushed. Eat and drink lightly and early so that your system can respond before you have to get on with your day. Know where the bathrooms are, carry a change of underwear and plenty of liners, wear additional protection if you are really worried about it, relax and enjoy the conference. - Surviving

Yes, Ikam, you will be fine. Perhaps not perfect, but I am sure it will be good enough to get you through it.

Thank you. I was OK...not much problem...I even allowed myself to eat differently...Turkish sweets are so yummy!!! Also ate other things and my digestion was just perfect!
I have found a different priobiotic that really helps me, it is called Saccharomyces boulardii...really helps me...

I have been drinking raw,
I have been drinking raw, organic Kombucha Tea for the past week and have had great results with digestion ( in the bathroom). I just looked at the bottle and it contains the Saccharomyces Boulardii in it as well. Maybe we're onto something here!!!

Saccharomyces Boulardii
Since using this particular probiotic, I have been much better, but I guess it is quite individual what works for whom...
I still have this strange bowel urgency. Some time ago I was using too many suppositories and I was splinting a lot. I lost then my normal urge.
Now, I have my urge back, but when it starts I just need to rush to the toilet...
Any views on this? Shall I wait longer? I thought that attending to this urgency may weaken my muscles in some way...(?)
I am so much better, comparing with the time when I joined...

Answering the call
I think one should always respond to the urge if they can. Why wait if you don't have to? Are you trying to train yourself to hold it longer? Where your bowels are concerned, I don't think any good can come of that. Often we are in situations where we can't go when we first feel the urge. But if you can, do it! - Surviving

I wonder if the anal
I wonder if the anal sphincters get weaker with age? Or if it is actually normal, and we are socialised to be able to hold on for as long as we like?
Ikam, you have worked very hard to let things out. Perhaps that is OK? I usually find that I only get bowel urgency after a stressor is removed, ie I have subconsciously relaxed, and my body says, "Oh good, she is relaxed. Now I can get on with unfinished business, before she gets stressed again!"
If you have indeed reached a different emotional level which is calmer than before, it might be time to have another look at your diet, and see if you need to reduce your insoluble fibre a bit, now your need for it may be lessened?
Just a thought.

I'd like to be able to hold for longer...
Surviving60,
yes, I would like to be able to hold for longer...As I am still at home (I have a very regular BMs), I go straight away...And this way it has been much better than it used to be...I used to be so impatient...I still get this full feeling towards the evening, but as I have no urge there and then, I don't provoke (splinting) myself anymore...All gets out in the morning!

it is not so bad...
Louise,
I have already cut on fibre, with a good result...Maybe as you said we are expected to hold for as long as we can. When I respond to this morning urgency (sometimes I feel I really need to rush; concerned that I will soil myself, which happened in the past on few occasional), it all gets out so easily...
So maybe, I should just wait patiently and see what will emerge next?
I guess, my balance will get upset after my hospitalisation...
