Vaginal burning and painful bladder

Body:

Ladies, help please

I have been fine with my cysto and rectocele lately, three weeks ago, sorry but had a large poo that I had to push upwards to evacuate. Since then I have been burning and smarting, my bladder is very sensetive after passing water. It was so bad at one point I could hardly walk for pain.
I went to the docs and she said it was no different, Went again a week later, had to see another doc. No water infection said I was inflamed inside. No infalation tablets wont help, Gave my hydrocortosene cream. I am afraid this is still in the fridge. I am 63 and although it is improving I am worried, I dont want an op. But the docs seem fed up of my lady bit troubles. I asked if ther was physio to show me how to strengthen the ball of muscles in the pelvic region. Dont tell me to do kegels said I I havent the will or the muscle tone to do them, Guess what he printed out for me. yes you got it kegel excercises, Sorry I needed a moan as was getting a bit, I wish I wasnt here like this. Its spoiling our lives. Please please ladies can you suggest anything. Thank you so very much..

Do you have christine's dvds? Those exercises, when done at your pace and your ability and in proper posture, will strengthen your muscles throughout the body (and yes, all those pelvic muscles as well). The dvds include things like stretches which we all so need in this process. Is your posture well set and do you regularly work with the dvds? My best wishes to you.

Hi dickydolly - If you have been having good luck with WW posture, there is no reason for a setback to send you to the doctor for the PT/Kegel/surgery discussion. Get beyond that!

Make sure you are completely emptying your bladder every time. Lift up and forward off the seat to tilt everything forward and unkink things so you can empty. Or try it on all fours. Take it slowly and get out every drop you can. Get back on track with pooing so there are no more straining incidents.

'Celes are manageable with WW posture, supplemented with WW exercise, lots of walking in correct stance, good diet, no straining, some firebreathing and nauli, and a good attitude. I have never felt that prolapse was ruining my life, in fact quite to the contrary, it has brought me improved mental and physical health and a wonderful feeling of hip stability that will follow me into old age. - Surviving

Hi again dickydolly - I have looked back over some posts and realize that you have back issues. It was suggested to you that WW posture principles were still worth trying and might be of help. Wondering if you had any luck with that, or with the honey treatments that were suggested for your other symptoms. - Surviving

Hi all
Thanks for comment and recomendations but most of all for support. I have just had a call from my doctors, For three weeks I have been taking in urine samples but the test strips showed neg, The last time it was sent to the lab. Oh I have an infection, hence the burning. I have been left three days of antibiotics, which means I will have to go back because I know they wont work in that time (experience). We know our bodies why wont people listen.
Yes I have been trying WW posture, it is difficult sometimes but it helps, I havent a DVD I dont know if I bought one if it would play in the UK also I dont know which one to buy as I am on a limited budget I dont want to make a mistake. I did look on a large internet store but they wanted £66 for Christines dvd. Any help or info would be gracefully received as I am going to crack this without ops.
I was reading on a NHS website, this lady said it was a silent disease, just another womans pain, thats she thought was how doctors here perceived it. I think thats a shame, I couldnt reply to her to share this site, Thanks again. Love to all from me.
