When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Wow - mesh used in this way
Wow - mesh used in this way was certainly not something I was aware of. I appreciate the information, Mika.
Yes, all of this absolutely does get better. I know you have some other health issues that complicate things for you. I am fortunate to be in excellent health for my age (62). My prolapse is of the "nature's pessary" variety with significant 'celes which tend to keep the cervix fairly well inside (I can feel it, but it never peeks out). So I can only speak for myself. The biggest hurdle and biggest joy was getting to the point where posture is automatic. I have been that way for a year or so now. Sometimes I am close to symptom-free, but most of the time I am somewhat aware of my prolapse. I absolutely love what WW posture has done for my body, and my body image. I don't mind my symptoms because I have no fear that things are going to get worse. I am in complete 100% maintenance mode. I know that all I have to do is keep up with what I do now. I can live well and happily with what I have, and even if my walking or exercise program falls off (which it does often), I know that keeping the posture is what counts the most. Once you learn and understand this work, there is virtually no activity that you cannot adjust to be prolapse-friendly. And you know that if something you do does aggravate things, that things will be back to normal with a little extra diligence. TOTAL freedom from prolapse worry. - Surviving

Mesh/question re prognosis for prolapse
Hi Mika,
Thank you for that piece of info re mesh. I'm not sure anything will surprise me anymore!
Re. prognosis for prolapse. I guess every woman is different, however as far as I can tell from my own experience and the frum posts, is that those women who have comitted to following the WW way; including, WW posture, suggestions for evacuation, diet and life-style.. have all found significant improvement in their symptoms and most manage their prolapses to the extent that they are able to lead normal lives and know what to do if their symptoms get worse. (As Surviving60 also said).
It took me a while to develop the muscle strength to do the WW posture, but I too found after a while I could live in WW posture without any difficulty. The WW dvd's really help in this respect. It does take most women some time to be able to do the WW posture and exercises for any length of time.
Love your body! I slouched because I felt large chested lol! We're all different and the best beauty is from the soul!
Wishing you all the best. xwholewomanuk

Well I do feel nice in the WW
Well I do feel nice in the WW posture it feels right. I am doing the first Dvd prolapse right now. I will move on in time. I have exercised for years but my balance is off working on that right now. So doing some exercise is no biggy for me. I bought the whole DVD package. I am lucky I could afford that. I will move on when my body is ready taking it one day at a time right now. Also trying to heal my neck....I have tried so many things. I also did a body check like Christine said to do. I always wore tampons so it seemed easy. Well I think I felt my cervix and do not know if it is falling down too how can you tell I feel something round and hard behind the bladder, is that my cervix? How do I know if it is falling?

I also told my one sister
I also told my one sister about this site and told her the WW posture. I told my daughter. I will tell all of my sister's and my niece's. What they do with it will be their's to do. When I visit my daughter in the summer I am going to go over more with her. I am going to try and let the woman I know about prolapse. I was in complete shock when it happened to me. I knew nothing and I was one person in pro-health trying to do everything right as possible.
Thanks again every one.

So true Mika, we can tell our
So true Mika, we can tell our friends and family about this, and we can tell the women who come here. "What they do with it will be theirs to do." At least we'll never have to fault ourselves for not doing our part to get the message out. - Surviving

Surviving60, I read your comments re the mesh. What do you mean by your prolapse being of "nature's pessary variety""? I read that somewhere else also and did not understand so I figure it is time for me to ask as I still have so much to learn.
Thanks.

nature's pessary
Hi Osmari - that's what Christine calls it when we have both cystocele and rectocele, which despite the discomfort has a benefit of providing support to keep the cervix from falling back too far in the vagina. I am pretty sure I have some degree of uterine prolapse as well, but it never comes that near to the opening.
She uses and explains the term in her video which is posted on the Video page of this website. Look under the Resources tab, then go to Videos and it's the first one. Well worth watching, it's really what sold me on WW almost 3 years ago!!- Surviving

Thanks Surviving60
I must have tried at least a half dozen times, but I can't get the first video to start....so I tried the one under it and it was fine. Maybe someone else is viewing it???? I will try again later.
Honestly, I can hardly wait to get the books and DVDs in the mail so I can REALLY get started...
Many thanks!

video no worky
Hi Osmari
If the video is still not working, shoot Lanny an email. lanny @ wholewoman.com . These things sometimes go heywire, and if nobody reports it, it stays broken.
The other option is to try a different browser. These difficulties are sometimes to do with browser updates. If you do find that another browser works, then let Lanny know that too. Lanny's still not well, so he is not working at normal capacity at all. The email is a record of the problem. He will fix it when he can.
