When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Help to get started
Dear lynlav,
(((hugs))) & welcome to WW forum!!
The best way to receive some suitable professional advice on getting started is to go to the WW Practitioner's tab & contact Louiseds who is our Australian WW teacher.
I am in Sydney & I read all the information on this site, posted my observations & questions, while waiting on Christine's Book & DVDs.
I then read the "Whole" of "Saving the Whole Woman" ( there is pictorial self diagnosis of prolapse in the book, & by reading it you will pick up on other symptoms that will or have improved by living in WW posture) I then watched the DVD's.
I started with the posture, then walking & DVDs & haven't looked back.
Sorry can't help with suitable gyneo - your GP may be able to help.
Best Wishes in your journey with us

not in Sydney, but closer than USA
Hi Lynlav23
Yes, I am in York, WA. You can buy Whole Woman resources from me, and I am happy to email with you, and make a time for a short chat at a mutually acceptable time. Still waiting on final insurance before I can help you properly.
Buying from me supports Whole Woman, and gets your products to you less expensively and much quicker.

Hi lynlav - I agree with Soul
Hi lynlav - I agree with Soul Sis, you might want to contact Louise via the Practitioners tab. She is in WA so if you aren't in a position to travel, she can consult by phone as well. Also, there is lots of help on this Forum and website, so just let us know what your questions are!
Gynecologists are surgeons, so of course the prevailing treatment option offered there is going to be surgery. I personally have no interest in knowing what a gyne things of my prolapses. Even diagnosis is not a science, since prolapses are moving around all the time. But this is my personal choice. Many women do feel better after being told by their doc that they have a prolapse, especially if they are worried about other possibilities.
Good luck and keep us up-to-date. - Surviving

Prolapse diagnosis
Hi lynlav23,
Welcome to the forum and the WW community and work. I'm very pleased you found this site and hope you find all the resources throughout this site useful. There are also WW youtubes you can check out as well as well.
Just to say the pelvic organs are separate but also very closely aligned, so what affects one organ will affect the others. They do not exist totally in isolation from one another. Also the pelvic organs are quite mobile. They need to be for the pregnant situation for example. So the position of the pelvic organs can vary - throughout the day, from day to day, time to time. So a diagnosis is a snap shot in time.
Basically there are things we can do to make pop worse. And those of us who've experienced pop have probably experienced some of those things, (eg slouching, pulling in our abdomens, continous coughing, difficulties in child-birth, pushing/lifting havy weights in an unsuitable way...). There ar also things you can do to make things better. Ie the WW way; natural posture, good elimination, undersatnding the pelvic organ support and how to protect that, good diet, de-stressed life-style, adequate rest etc.
So it may be helpful to have a diagnosis - but remember it's a snap shot not writ in stone - and there are natural, safe, effective ways to treat and improve pelvic organ prolapse symptoms. Many of us on this site are testimony to that.
Surviving60 - thank you for your comment 'Gynecologists are surgeons' and my light-bulb moment.
Do you know somehow that had never clicked so clearly for me before. Gynecologists are surgeons - so of course they're going to know about and suggest surgery most. That's what they know.
Wishing you all, all the best, xwholewomanuk
