When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

I don't know about exercises
I don't know about exercises you can do. I just wanted to say I'm sorry you're laid up and hope you'll be able to strengthen that knee when you do get up. Well.....read, read, read?

Exercises
Thank you Bebe. I started to get really scared that everything was going downhill forever. Then...I realized I was in a negative spiral and decided to, like you say, read, read, read.
It helps.

Hi Daphne - Hope you will be
Hi Daphne - Hope you will be feeling better soon. Some of Christine's exercises are done lying down. But if you are nursing a seriously twisted knee that requires you to lie flat for awhile, I'd recommend you do just that. Your prolapse will certainly get a rest! - Hang in there! - Surviving

Visualising
Some years ago now I read a book I think called the Inner Game of Management. In it the author described an experiment that was done on basketball players. One group were left to act as normal, another practiced the game and a third group visualised the game in their mind only (or, some similar breakup). The main point that was made was that the group who visualised only when they came to actually play the game did better than either of the other two groups. So while you are laid up, it might not be a bad idea to visualise yourself walking around in posture and performing some of the exercises in posture. It has to be done regularly for it to have any measurable effect, but even once in a while seems to grow confidence.
I think of it as being similar to a child’s rehearsing of what they need to do as in games; ‘let’s play parties’, let’s play cooks’. So much of the play is pretend blowing up balloons or pretend cutting up of vegetables and filling the pot. Somehow this playing/learning helps and advances skills.

Exercises lying down
Hello and thank you, Surviving60, for your thoughts. My knee is getting better and I am now vertical again and walking with a tight bandage. You're right, the prolapse did get a rest - it felt better.
I am now noticing how much I forget to ww stand, sit, walk and breathe. So, I'm slowing down (again) and working to notice more and more and make corrections. While being horizontal I watched ww youtube and the videos on my computer and learned a lot! When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was to do some scissor crossing. It felt great to do just that before getting out of bed.
At first I dreaded the exercises and really refused to admit that I needed them. Now, I look forward to them.
Thanks again,
Daphne11

Visualizing
What great input. I'm going to start visualizing. I'm going to 'play "Pretend I'm Christine" since I've watched her do the exercises and posture/breathing on youtube and the videos, until I get the hang of it, then I'll be me!
Thanks for the idea,
