Hello, New To Forum

Body: 

I'm new to the forum and so glad to be here.

I've had a prolapse problem for many years and it's recently
gotten worse.

I'm going to purchase the DVD's. I have fibromyalgia so it's
difficult for me to get up and down on the floor. I want to
purchase the DVD for Elders but wanted to check in with
someone on the forum who has used that to see what kind
of results they've gotten.

I would really prefer to get the regular DVD if there is
any way I can work with that without getting up and down
on the floor. I'm good at doing things at my own pace so
I can probably make it work for myself.

I'm just concerned that with the DVD for elders I may not
get the result I need and I really want to take care of this
problem.

Hi Mia and welcome. Yes, I would recommend the regular DVD for you. Anything that you find difficult can be modified as you go along. Do what you can. The Elders DVD is great for those with very limited mobility, and I think your instincts are correct that you will be better off getting the full program. Welcome to our WW community. I'm so glad you found this site. There's a treasure trove of information, support and resources here. I'm sure your engagement with the WW wrok will help.
I think the dvd's are a real support in doing the WW posture and developing the muscles and tone in our bodies that we really need in order to attain and remain in WW - and improve our general health.
I def think you're on the right track to work within your means. You may need to modify some of the postures; work within your limits and at your own pace - and you can't go wrong. The dvd's are a wise and long-lasting investment. I use mine every week.

Hi Mia! Welcome. I just joined here in November 2012. I originally ordered the Elder video but gave it to my mom who also has prolapse. It is very gentle and I agree with the other ladies that you will probably get better use out of the original one and you can go at your own pace or only use the exercises that you are able to do. I got the original one now and am slowly working my way through it. Good luck to you!
