Red Clover Balm?

Body:

Hi - I am new here, recently diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis. I am taking a regimen of clobetasol twice daily but it seems to be working some days and then not the next, so I'm not sure if it's going to work. I'm supposed to use it for a month and then taper down to a lesser steroid, and then after that to a compounded hydrocortisone/Vanicream combination. This is early LS with no scarring or fusing, but it itches like crazy. My gyn is having me take red clover supplements and I also purchased the tea, but so far, two weeks in, I don't see that it's doing anything.

I saw some references here to a red clover balm that one can make, but I can't find the instructions anywhere on this site or on the web. I'm thinking it might be good to use between clobetasol applications.

Can anyone help me with this - or provide any suggestions?

Thanks,
Irene

Hi discdogmom - I know Louise has answered this in your other thread - a video of Christine making the salve is on the Resources page under Living Arts. I second her suggestion that you check out Christine's Vulva Vaginal Health DVD - especially as regarding the honey and vinegar process. - Surviving

I was without Internet and did not see your post on time, I was diagnosed with LS too, if you read my posts you will see that I am healed by Christine advise of the red clover ! I take the capsules and I prepare the red clover balm in a fast and easy way. Christine video of the Vulva Health has wonderful advise! I am free of having to use clobetazol for eight months!!! I am very glad you have been diagnosed early! Have a good week. Solita
