sore hips from WW posture?

Body:

Is this normal when you first start doing the WW posture? Or am I stressing them?

Hi Truffle,

From my perspective, hip soreness is usually soft-tissue soreness long before there is bony involvement. WW posture stretches certain muscles, while winding up other structures about the hip. This is natural human extension and nothing to be wary of. However, our hips are often inflexible - a major reason our pelvic organs fall backwards! Take it slowly and we can only hope you're understanding the posture correctly - there is no way to tell!

Thank you, Christine! Oddly enough, they haven't been sore since i posted this. But it just occurred to me I haven't really focused on the WW posture. I've been so busy at work and moving fast to get my work done.

I need to pay more attention!
