Another small milestone in the prolapse journey

Body:

OK, this isn't earth-shattering, but I'm happy!

In May 2012 at the first WW conference, I scooped up one of the last of those nice green logo tees, like the ones they wear in the FAFP DVD. Love the shirt, but it is very body-hugging (they are stretchy and run very small). I haven't had the nerve to wear it out of the house except when it's chilly enough to zip a hoodie over it (with basically only the logo showing).

Today for the VERY first time, I'm wearing it to work for "casual Friday". I've lost a little bit of belly flab just from lots of walking and some dietary improvements (soooo many more of those that I need to make). But even more importantly, I'm ready to show the world my WW posture in all its glory. There are one or two women in the office, much younger than I, who for some reason seem to come by this posture naturally (i.e., they never lost it in the first place). Now when I look in a full-length mirror, I've convinced myself that I don't look much different from them! I could be way off about that, but I don't even care. - Surviving

I have never seen you before but I don't have to see you with my eyes to know you are a very beautiful person!! You have so much beauty on the inside that I know it has to radiate from you like the sun shines over the hillsides after a long dark night!! You are like those women n better!! So show off that beautiful WW posture n be proud w the knowledge that you are stunning and a true pioneer for those of us just starting on our journey!!! Love you!!!

How lovely to hear. You are an inspiration, our dear Surviving. Thanks for making my day!

Thank you for sharing, dear Surviving.

I'm still trying to get over the 'mind-set' built into me for so many years. But last week I gave away many of my clothes that demand 'sucking in', and I went out and bought a few clothes that encourage me to stand in ww posture.

I understand what you mean about not wanting to wear the clothes until you're comfortable being seen in them, and I'm following in your footsteps.

It kind of helps when you look around and (ignoring the women who 'suck & tuck') you see many women who look nice with a 'tummy'
