weigh loss and uterine prolapse

Body:

I am about 12 lb over weight. I have goal of loosing it over the 6-8 months no more than 2 lbs/month. Based on your experience loosing weight can help or hurt prolapse??

Forum:

I've heard it both ways, smit, so I'm sure it's one of those things that can be influenced by any number of other factors. So just stay in posture, do prolapse-friendly exercising, and lose the weight in a healthy way. Your prolapse management will be the same. - surviving

I am in the process of losing weight too. I've already lost 8 lbs, and I hope to lose another 20. I plan to do it carefully, in a healthy way, maintaining ww posture and doing some of the exercises.

By saying 'in a healthy way', I mean that I am cutting out sugars and processed foods and making sure that I eat good, nutritious food.

I am confident that doing it this way will result in much benefit to my organs.
