Help! I'm pregnant! :-)

Body:

Christine, don't know if you remember me from a month or so ago. The one with the scoliosis surgery and prolapsed bladder? I'm sorry if I've missed a post somewhere but is the diet manual available yet? I'm trying to eat "well" and using the proper posture, etc. but still could use some black and white assistance to the diet. I just found out Sunday night that I'm pregnant (currently we have a 14 year old daughter, 7 year old daughter and two sons adopted from Korea - 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 so this was a total surprise!). I just printed out all the posts regarding "exercise during pregnancy" and will read it. Any additional advice/feedback would be appreciated. At this point, as my periods have always been very irregular, the best I can estimate how far along I am is somewhere between 2-8 weeks! I will be going to the OB/GYN on Fri. so if there is anything I need to address with them at that time, please let me know!

Maykeypj,
I just saw your post and thought you might be interested in my post under pelvic health about pregnancy and the hormone relaxin. I've asked Christine for her insight and am awaiting her reply, too. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Hi Maykeypj!

Of course I remember you :-) Congradulations!! Please read the Labor Progress Handbook (resources) and think about finding the support of a good midwife in addition to your OB. We are just now doing the final design lay-out on the food book. Tell you what...call the toll-free Bridgeworks line 888-514-1400 and talk to Shayla. I'd like to send you and Jane complimentary copies, hopefully within the next two weeks. There's a companion video that's not edited yet...these things take so much time!!!

Wishing you and baby well,

Christine
