When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Wow – this is a great
Wow – this is a great question and I hope that maybe CK herself will weigh in on this one. Initially when I imagined myself doing what you described, it felt like something that could put quite a strain on the pelvic dynamics. But then I realized – lack of gravity changes everything, and the normal question “can you maintain WW posture while doing this” might not even apply. Can you tell us how your prolapse feels when doing this? And since this is your first post, can you tell us how you are doing at maintaining the posture? - Surviving

thank you so much for
thank you so much for responding ...when i am treading water I have to say it feels really lovely ..there is such an interesting way the body is supported by 'no gravity' ..also it feels a very 'natural' environment...I am thinking of experiementing with a bouancy belt to stay more upright and to maintain the posture.....When i am in water everything tends to feel wonderful ..oft times i will go to the shallow end and allow the water to move me ..(like seaweed moving ...I am learining some belly dancing moves to reengege the energy in my pelvis as well...I attempt to stay very connected with my pelvis and focus on creating a new and welcoming environment for all my organs to be safe and supported (I am finding this whole experience, while really hard, to be a profound opportunity for healing at very deep levels)...I am conscious of the WW posture thorughout my day ..initially my low back was really painful as my body registered the change ..better now ..though some days it is very painful...some days definitely better than others ..Admit to feeling really vulnerable at times ..especially as regards the care of my beloved son. I am bending and lifting lots (any tips for the best way to lift?)...I also live on the second floor of a house so I am always carrying heavy loads up and down stairs ..doing my best to keep the posture while climbing..there are good days ..and then ..not so much ...It is sinking in that my organs are not actually going to fall out ..that the floor has stretched so that things are simply very low down and pushing through...I am committed to shifting this around ..and sooo grateful for the support ..so thanks again for responding....

River, it sounds to me like
River, it sounds to me like you have a good grasp on posture principles and you can safely trust yourself to know if something is good or bad for organ support. What you're doing in the water sounds lovely and very healing! Bending and lifting are things you'll always have to stop and think about, even when posture itself becomes second nature (at least this is my experience). Try as much as possible to keep that lumbar curvature in place when you bend forward, instead of rounding your back. When carrying a heavy load, try to distribute it as evenly as possible, and keep it as close to your body as you can; when I am careful about this, I actually find that the extra weight helps the prolapse by keeping the vagina as a closed, airless space (what Christine calls "weight-loading from above").
There are ways to do just about everything in a prolapse-friendly way. And it will always be a mix of good days and bad. I have been constipated and straining a bit lately, but I find I can recover from this fairly well by doing a lot of jiggling the organs forward, and short but frequent fire-breathing sessions. Some aspects of this maintenance are within our control, and others just can't be, all the time......but once you can get past the fear, life can be great again. Hugs to you and your dear son - Surviving

What a great name you picked "riveroflife". If you follow the WWposture faithfully you will be swimming down the river with the current and each week will show more promise than the last. The shock does wear off and you soon learn what your "new" normal is in order to live a full life with prolapse. It sounds like you have persistence and determination, two important ingredients to succeed in maintaining control of your prolapse. We live in such an "instant gratification world" and have to realize there is no quick fix for prolapse, it is a lifetime commitment. I think also that water is very healing and just soaking in a tub with Epsom salts does my body and soul good. I started by reading Christine's book, "Saving the Whole Woman", a great overview on the whole philosophy of treatment protocol for prolapse. Every woman who finds this forum has been given a wonderful gift that can enrich her life and in many cases if not all make her life even richer. Welcome, keep reading and soon there will be more glad than sad days. Blessings, Free2be (a whole woman)

Jiggling
River, you can jiggle different ways. All I do is bend forward from the hips (keeping lumbar curvature intact), totally relax the belly (of course), knees bent, and jiggle my legs very quickly. I visualize my organs moving farther forward in the belly while doing this. Do it before firebreathing, before and after going to the toilet. The goal is to get those organs to spend more and more time in the relaxed belly and not hanging over the vagina. - Surviving

Riveroflife & others into water therapy
My question is what if any is the effect of the chemical chorine that is used in pools on prolapse? Finding salt water pools is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Water therapy
My humble opinion is that when you put your body in a pool with chlorine, your whole body, not just your vagina absorbs that poison. Your skin is the largest organ and can absorb large amounts of chlorine; we are so careful to eat organic food and drink filtered water and then jump in water with poisonous chemicals????????? Think about it. I am still looking for a place that has a salt water pool. My Practitioner is converting her backyard pool to salt water, me thinks we are on the same page. Any feedback would be welcome.
