keeping the WW posture while reading/walking on uneven surfaces

Body:

I live in a place that has cobblestone streets and sidewalks and some are often missing. I find I am rarely able to keep my chin in the correct position.
Also when I want to read a book my head does not stay in position - I want to curl up and read. Any suggestions.
thanks,

Christine describes all the elements of ideal posture, but my goodness, no one can possibly keep her head at the same angle all day long. Please look down when you walk on those uneven streets! Same for reading - you're allowed to look down at the book. Or at anything else that you do as you go throughout your day that requires you to look down. Otherwise you might start getting funny looks from people.

To be honest, I was concentrating so hard on keeping belly relaxed and chest pulled up, that I probably didn't even start thinking about my chin tuck for at least the first year. If you're worrying about your head then I guessing you must be doing pretty well overall. Keep up the good work. - Surviving
