When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

To Cleo
Hi Cleo - splinting means inserting one or two clean fingers into the vagina, to push back the rectocele bulge and allow the stool to pass. Maybe you could try this next time you are having a problem, to see if the stool is in fact getting stuck there. At least this would identify the problem.
You've been commenting on the forum for a number of years, Cleo, and I know you have had some ups and downs in your life, and with your prolapse. You have been determined to avoid surgery, and I'm happy about that! But I must also say that I've never been very clear on whether or not you are actively using the Whole Woman posture throughout your day, to help you position the organs and improve your symptoms. - Surviving

Surviving 60
Yes Surviving 60, I have done splinting and the posture. I also do the exercises in Christine's book. My back has always been very straight so it's easy for me to maintain a good posture. I have put on some weight lately and I feel better this morning as I've been to the loo. I had constipation. I ate too many chocolates. It was really painful as I have a rectal prolapse too. Doctors often gave me pills that blocked me up. I'm sure I would be better if I hadn't taken them years ago.

Cleo - posture
Cleo, I want to ask you a little more about your posture. Whole Woman posture restores the natural lower lumbar curvature and gives the pelvic organs room to move into the relaxed lower belly where they belong. This process of restoring the natural alignment of the organs is what helps us with our various symptoms. So, when you say simply that you have a "very straight" back, that doesn't tell us whether or not you actually practice WW posture. Let's take it a step at a time. First question, do you keep your belly relaxed at all times? - Surviving

I Keep Myself Relaxed if I Remember
Hi Surviving60, I keep my stomach relaxed if I can. I feel a bit like it's a bit big though at times. I only weigh 56 kilos now. It's a bit too much weight but I'm trying to diet. In answer to I think it was Fab , Hi Fab, yes I do have a high fibre diet. I only eat fish and plenty of fresh vegetables. I am mostly vegetarian. My mother too had diverticulitis but she died from a cerebral haemorrhage at 85. She had shivers and had to take antibiotics to clear her diverticulitis. Also sometimes she found it hard to swallow because of diverticulum in the throat I think it was at times. I felt so sorry for her as she had polio years ago and scoliosis. Anyway she was a happy woman. My brother had a stroke and I have been dealing with that too. So sorry Christine to hear Lanny had a Stroke. I hope he's better now. My husband has diverticulitis and his hernia is now fixed with mesh. It does work for men sometimes. Sorry I have put all this in here but I can't find Fab's letter to me. I will after. Well I will keep on trying with the posture. I feel like I'm done for having all these problems. On Embarrassing Bodies prolapse repair never seems to work. I saw Tree Ladies rectal prolapse page. I went through to it and I have heard of all these repairs before. They are a bit scary but I suppose they help some ladies. I was just dusting and I read the poem so I will relax a bit now. I do get stressed.

Cleo, I think the next big
Cleo, I think the next big thing for you to work on is posture. You must train yourself to hold that relaxed-belly stance all the time! With time and practice, it can become automatic. Visualize that lovely lower lumbar curvature. Visualize the organs held forward in the hollow of the relaxed belly. Chest up, shoulders down (not back). Practice practice!
Next question, do you jiggle/firebreathe? - Surviving
