Firebreathing or?

Body:

Hi, I think that I know how to do this but it doesn't seem to feel any differently. I prefer to get down in "baby" yoga pose on the floor with head down on arms and rear up in the air. Then I can feel the organs slipping up in place.

What am I missing?

Thank you, Mary Jean

You will naturally feel your organs falling forward when you get down into the position you describe, and it's a very comfortable position that many of us use. Firebreathing is a bit more though.....it creates a vacuum that pulls the organs even further forward and has the potential to keep them there for longer and longer periods. The breathing sequence is the critical thing, so if you don't feel anything, check and make sure you are inhaling and exhaling at the proper times. When learning, I had a tendency to want to do the breathing "backwards". - Surviving

Hi
Where can I find the instructions for the Firebreathing technique? I have the book, but I haven't had time to read any of it as I am travelling on business at the moment. Likewise the First Aid for Prolapse DVD, which I ordered just before I left home ( should have arrived by now ) but I don't return home until next week. Hopeful1506

It's in the book (2nd edition, blue cover, towards the back); on the FAFP dvd (look in the Dictionary of Movements) and also both the 1st and 3rd Wheel dvds (especially 3rd Wheel). Since you have the book and dvd, I think it can wait another week until you can access them, especially if you are new to this work. - Surviving

Thanks Surviving 60 for your information. Look forward to getting home and trying the DVD. I so wish the book was available on Kindle, I get plenty of time on flights to read. Hopefully, Christine will consider this in the future.

Yes Hopeful, if I'm not mistaken, the first book to come out for tablet reading will be Hips - at least that is what I think. Meanwhile, the best thing you can do on those super long flights is to support your lower lumbar curvature with a cushion of some kind, and to get up and walk around in excellent WW posture from time to time. There is never any excuse for NOT doing the WW work. - Surviving
