When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Dear Seeking Hope,
Dear Seeking Hope,
Unfortunately pop knows no age barrier, however many women are menopausal when this happens - so even though it is hard and you are so young, try to see this as an opportunity to start this posture and exercise now which will see you in great shape in your younger years and as you get older.
I had a similar feeling about two years ago when it felt like a blown up rubber glove sitting above my vulva. I felt the cervix was low, however I did learn that the organs do move around each other to perform their functions and I did have my period at the time. I had a rectocele about 17years before I found WW at this time, and I have never experienced that scary time again since.
Go to resources and watch Christine's videos and learn Whole Woman Posture.
Something you can start now is to belly breath - watch how your toddler does it though do it more slowly than them. If you read my recent post called "Relax belly reminders" it will explain briefly why we do this and what it does for our abdominal organs etc.

Over the years of having rectocele I gradually could not keep tampons in ( not realizing why),and though I have never used a pessary, the consensus here is that they are not generally useful and WWP can help more. With WWP the vagina is a closed airless space, helping keep the pelvic organs in place in the relaxed lower belly. Pessaries keep the vagina open making the organs vunerable to intra - abdominal pressure, and rectoceles can tend to push them out like tampons....
If you are doing traditional kegels, pulling in your lower belly, bottom tucking and chest breathing - all these can cause prolapse ironically as most of us here have been there and done that.
Start with the posture first and live in that there are many helpful posts on here also - search key words like fire breathing for posts on that to help re-position organs in the lower belly, and walking in WWP is great exercise. There are also posts about using the toilet in WWP and foods people eat to help.
If you like running you can still run - Christine's third wheel DVD has a segment on WW running on toes in WWP.
Christine has a comprehensive online program which will give you quick access to her latest and general information, exercises - especially the most in depth discussion of the posture available.

Hello, I was only 27 when I got all three prolapses after my birth,
Where you say you've only been working on your pelvic strength, how have you done this? If it's by traditional Kegals? Because mine accelerated when I had no information and did normal Kegals and a post pregnancy DVD with all sorts of awful moves! Get working on Christine's posture and on u tube she has a clip out of one of the DVDs with exercises and I started on those. Don't panic you will be ok and you will be able to get it much more manageable.

Hi Seeking Hope,
Hi Seeking Hope,
I have a similar story to you. I had a mild rectocele 3 months after the birth of my second child and didn't know about this site and it got worse one day one year later and it was immediate. I woke up with the bluge down and it would not go back up. It has not gone back up since and it has been 4 months. I used a sea sponge when it first came down for a month and found them annoying. I found this work during that time and stopped using the sponge. I think it was making things worse as it was pushing on my vagina. I now have cyctocele too and my uterus has come down as I can feel it when i bend over and put my finger in there. However, in saying all this, this work is great and when I am in posture things are a lot better. I think the getting worse part has been because I am still learning and changing my body to WW strength. I have had a lot of problems with constipation and have tried many things with eating. I do fermenting and probiotics and don't eat grain but do eat meat and bone broth (gut healing for my kids and me).
I think clothing is very important. Today I wore some loose, low waist jeans but they still were obviously too tight when I was sitting as they did not allow me to fully relax my belly (although it was close to fully relaxed) and by the afternoon I found things were the lowest they have ever been. Very scary but I know that I just have to do more of the exercises and keep the posture up. I wear leggings and loose tops now. A change from always having a flat belly and dressing in tight tops but worth it. I am 36 years old. I don't know what to say to help, except that this stuff works and is empowering. I believe our body is amazing and apart from the prolapse I feel young and my body feels loved as I really take care of it since this happened. I wish I had found this work when it was mild. It would have been a blessing and worth getting prolapse for since I have learnt so much BUT like you, that is not what happened to me and I admit I do regret not searching the web at the beginning but at least we have found this site now before years have gone by. I went to about five experts and didn't think there was another way hence I didn't goggle prolapse. I normally look for a natural alternative to everything but I was very brainwashed by 'nice' experts who said not worry it was only mild and I didn't realise it would just get worse and worse if I didn't change my posture and how I lived.
I would not try a pessary based on my experience of it making things worse (I could feel that happening).
I imagine being so young your body will be in a great position to really improve quickly but it just doesn't seem fair it can happen that young. I see all the young girls in the celebrity magazines having a flat belly from a young age and wonder if many more women will be getting prolapse earlier and earlier.
All the best with this wonderful WW work. I found the book and the First Aid for Prolapse really good.
Don't run until you really have the posture sorted (this could be over a year) but do walk, you will feel good and free from the bluge, pressure feeling and you will know your posture is on the right track. That is walking without a pram when you can.
Best of luck.

welcome to WW
Thank you for your post - and I'm so glad you've found the WW community.
The WW approach is safe, natural and effective. I highly recommend you engage with it as soon as you can. Christine and Lanny have developed so many resources by now, it's amazing; book, dvd's, on-line courses, trained WW teachers and Christine the Goddess of POP herself are available, for 1:1 meetings/tel/SKYPE, as well as free info and support via this website inc. the blog flu of fantastic articles, you tube and the conference. There's a wonderful choice of resources available now to suit different needs and learning styles and financial situations.
Wishing you all the best,
