When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Hi again buda. We've had lots and lots and lots of discussion about your rectocele, which doesn't sound any worse than pretty much any other rectocele to me. Now that I've seen the measurements I can assure you that it is not going anywhere. Mine is easily that size and on a bad day I'm sure it's more exposed than half a cm!
We've never been able to figure out why you are having so many problems. You should be able to get that rectocele up and forward a bit with posture, firebreathing, posture walking, good bathroom habits and all those other things we do. What do you do to manage it? What is your daily routine for prolapse? - Surviving

I recall several posts where you were telling us you were having trouble understanding what it means to relax the belly. Have you learned to do that, or are you still having trouble? - Surviving

Dear Surviving, I think I
Dear Surviving, I think I still have problems with relaxing my belly. I don't know if I don't overpush it so that I push down my intestines instead of putting them forward. I can't find the balance. In addition to this when I pull up my chest while relaxing my belly I get a bad back ache and a bad tension-like ache in my intestines which disappears immediately when I stop sitting or walking in this position. Breathing to my belly is also a problem for me. Which part of my belly should I breath in? If I breath into my lower belly I feel that my bowels are pushed down.

low rectocele
I have a suggestion. I also have a rectocele that I am trying to manage and am having success. My rectocele is similar to what you are describing. Before any progress can occur you absolutely have to understand and execute the breathing. Without that NOTHING can move forward. When you understand how to breathe you will feel your lower abdomen relax and expand. It sounds to me like you are frustrated and tense, two things that will never lead to success with this Whole Woman approach. So if I were you I would go lie down in my bed and relax my whole body. Close your eyes because it helps you to concentrate and exhale gently until all your breath is gone. Think about your lower belly above your pubic bone and start to inhale through your nose and at the same time ever so gently push open your lower abdmen by pushing out your belly button. Concentrate on the air filling the space between your navel and pubic bone. Dont push to hard. Your lower belly should be round. Then exhale through your nose and let your belly deflate gently. Practice this over and over again until you can do it easily. Practicing this breathing helped my back-ache and the breathing while walking in posture helped even more. I hope this helps.

I've been reading over some posts and find this description of breathing to be very helpful reminder!
