exercise bike

Hi Christine,

Cleaning house yesterday, and dusting cob-webs around my in-door-stationary exercise bike...I have not used it for a very long time....Hence the question:

Do you think useing a recumbant bike (that is what mine is, it is a bike with the seat and back-rest tilted back slightly so that as I peddle I am in more of a reclining position and then the legs are extended so as not to be all pushed up against my stomach....it is very comfortable)....so, would going back to excersing on my recumbant stationary bike be a good thing to do? or not?

I can't figure out if that position would be benifical or detrimental.

What do you think? I hope I explained the dynamics of this excersie bike alright so you get the picture.
