Some background info and..Candida in my bladder??

Body:

Hi there! I am 26, and I experienced my first prolapse following the birth of my first son when I was 20. I rested and it went away. Fast forward a few years and two little baby boys, and now it is a constant struggle keeping my lady bits in. Levi is currently 8 months old and I experienced my second prolapse when he was two weeks old. I was doing laundry and the cervix dropped all the way to the opening of my vagina. I'm not sure the technical name for that but it happens, but not to that extent, all of the time with very commonly that heavy, pulling down feeling. I just got Christine's materials in the mail last week and it has been eye opening.

I have bad problems with yeast, and I have whole wheat sourdough going right now, and I just want to make sure that is OK to eat with yeast? I always get yeast after having sex with my husband and I just can't stay away from the guy lol. I also had cervical cancer a few years ago I Reversed by eating pure foods (no grains included) and taking a bottle of oregano oil. I've been eating terribly since I had my last babe, and I know I need to eat pure but it would be comforting to at least eat bread... and to think it may be good for me! As of right now, I think the yeast is also in my bladder because when I pee it inflames my labia again And then yogurts soothes it. I've already done a heavy dose of D. Mannose. I'd already be over this I'm sure if I hadn't had a bloopers and accidentally put in sweetened vanilla yogurt and made it so much worse a couple of days ago**fface palm**.

So is it OK to have more babies with prolapse? I just need to stay in posture and it'll be good? Also I was squatting on the loo before I discovered it made my prolapse SO MUCH WORSE. However is it OK for my children (boys) to continue squatting to poo? Any input on bladder issues would be great, I have noticed white strings in my urine. I haven't noticed my uretha burning, but the urine itself burns on my labia and makes me itchy/burning.

Hi mrsduncam and welcome,
Many of our mothers have had repeated births successfully with prolapse. Read around here on the forum for their stories. They are very inspirational.

I had repeated yeast infections when I was in my twenties. Yogurt was very soothing, but I found the over the counter monostat was the only thing that really got rid of them. Preventing them in the first place became my main goal though. One thing I found that worked was just having my husband wash up his penis before we had sex. And, if you have oral sex, wash up right after. For some reason, these things helped the most.
If you are having burning while you are actually urinating, you may have a bladder infection, which means antibiotics may be in order to clear it up. After that, again, prevention should come into play. Complete emptying of your bladder the way Christine describes in her book should really be taken seriously. For comfort, you can apply raw honey to your vagina and even labia. It has a very soothing healing affect to it.
Not sure what kind of squatting you are talking about, but the half squat works really well on the toilet. You can search on here about toilet habits, there's tons and tons of posts.

Just wanted to welcome you to Whole Woman!

Thank you for writing me back! I said I got the materials this past week but forgot to mention I haven't received the book yet-its on backorder! :) Now Im really looking forward to getting that So i can learn how to wee!!! I've been loving the videos even with my three little guys making it hard for me to follow along and to actually do a lot of the exercises so I'v e mostly observing and trying to practice just standing and walking, but I'm looking forward to really doing the exercises soon and I'd like to get in the habit of doing an exercise video a day. They are hard for me though! I didn't know how out of alignment I was until l tried to simply sit like Christine says with my legs folded And felt the pull! I've been reading through the forums and found some different stories of pregnancies and things and that is helpful. It is helpful knowing I'm not suffering alone and something CAN be done. The body and it's healing abilities are amazing. Yeast is feeling better on my lady parts although my urine itself makes me itch. Does urine making you itch and burn on your labia mean regular uti or is that a special kind caused by fungus in the bladder? I'm trying to address it as systemic yeast at this point because my tongue has a white coating and it feels like little razors on my nipple when babe nurses. All of the donuts caught up to me also and i dont want the little one to have a thrush problem too! I am ready to begin again :)

The old candida is hard to get rid of; however, there are some websites about it. Over the years, my hubby and I discovered that sugar seems to be the instigator, and some breads with yeast. Some breads don't have yeast, as in gluten-free breads of which more are on the market now. Check out those websites also. Good luck!
