When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Seems like the perfect place
Seems like the perfect place to post it to me.
Everything you were used to about your period really doesn't hold true during perimenopause. Some women will bleed really heavily, bleed all month, spot between periods, and our cycles don't always land on those perfect 28 days anymore.
I too am in perimenopause, and am just biding my time until this whole period thing is over finally.

Thank you! Here is my situation
I should preface this by saying that one thing that attracted me to this site is the movement toward the more holistic and that surgery is not always the only option.
I am 53, never been pregnant, have not been sexually active, never took any birth control or been to a gyno since my early 30s. I am very afraid of doctors and medical facilities after having so many friends close to my age die in their 40s, 50s and early 60s. I am "obese" but in the process of losing weight. I was never more than 20 pounds overweight in my 20s and 30s. Just in my 40s and now 50s.
My periods have always been regular (even if a few days late sometimes) with Day 1 and 2 very heavy/clots and Days 4-6 very normal to light. I missed one period almost 2 years ago but never missed one since.
This October, my period was 3 days late but was "normal" with the exception that it was preceded by pain in my hip joints, ligaments and lower back for about 2-3 weeks. The pain did not keep me away from work but I had to take (1) 200 mg Ibuprofen every 24 hours. Since the flow tapered on October 20, I have had a little flow every day, similar to what I usually get on the last day of a period. It is not enough to wear a big pad.
I am wondering if people had similar experiences to mine? I am especially interested in anyone who might have put off going to the doctor about a situation like this because they knew it was an expected thing with perimenopause. And...did things end up OK?
Thank you for reading.

I can tell you that I haven't
I can tell you that I haven't been to a doctor for the different kinds of bleeding that I have experienced during perimenopause, I just did a lot of reading and found that it wasn't unusual. With that said, I wouldn't ever suggest that someone not go to the doctor to rule out a problem, or especially if there is pain that doesn't go away.
I used to get a lot of cramping and some back pain, but found that my uterus was prolapsing as well as starting perimenopause, so that may be the issue too. Something to think about.
Since I have been engaging in the whole woman work, the back pain, hip pain, and cramping went away for me.

Might be prolapse
I hope this does not offend anyone or come off as "too much information" but I do have a fat "apron" from a previous weight loss and it inflates when I gain weight. When I lift it, most of my back pain and the slight pulling sensation I sometimes feel near my right ovary subsides. Makes me wonder if things are "lower" than they should be.
Anyway, I have only begun to look around this site so I will be checking out the wealth of materials and info. Thank you for your insight and feedback.
