My bad luck runneth over

Body:

Hi everyone, how is everyone doing? Well for the past few days I haven't actually been worrying about my prolaspe, looks like I have something else to worry about now. Sunday night we had a bad storm hit here in Texas and we got over 15 inches of rain. I woke up to go use the bathroom and I heard a dripping noise. I went into the living room and boy was I in for a shock. My living room was like a rain forest. We ended up using 42 buckets to catch the water. It was like living a nightmare. About 6 months before hand, we had hurricane Rita hit us and it damaged our roof. FEMA( federal emergency management association) had came out to look at the house a few weeks after the hurricane and said we didn't have alot of damage( we had alot though ) and denied us help, saying the roof would hold if we had anymore bad rain. We knew we needed a new roof but the contractors told us it would be July before they could come fix it. So in the meantime, we put a blue tarp on the roof covering it up until we could have it repaired. Guess that didn't help any. Now our carpet is ruined as is our ceiling. My husband took off the ceiling tiles and they were covered in black mold. The sheetrock was gone and it was just a mess. It was like reliving the hurricane all over again. We are trying like crazy to get rid of the mold. We have knocked down the tiles and have pulled out some of the walls to get rid of the mold Thankfully the kids are staying with my family until we can get rid of it. In the meantime, I just hope me and my husband don't get sick from the mold. I never thought that would happen to us. I just hope they hurry up and fix our roof before hurricane season approaches us. If we get another direct hit, we won't have a house. My computer was also damaged from the water dripping on it. Sorry I rambled on about everything and I know this really doesn't relate to womens' health but I guess I just needed to relieve some steam. By the way, I am still doing my exercises to relieve stress and help my body as well. Hope all of you are doing good too. Hugs to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ally,

I'm so sorry you going thru that! I live out here in dry West Texas and I saw the news last night about how much rain Houston got. I went thru a mold in my house problem and after the insurance fixed it, they doubled my insurance premiums.

If you can find a dry place to lay down, try doing some stress relieving stretches.

Hope things get better for you soon.

Blessings and a cyberhug!

Ally,
It never rains but it pours as they say, (unfortunately literally in your case!)I am also hoping things dry out for you really soon. Try to keep your chin up and know you are being thought of lots!
Hugs,
Michelle
