When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Periods
Yes Pinetree, you will be fine. Everything is always worse at period time, lots of posts on the forum about this. Quality rest is always important, but I'm not sure how helpful it is to lie around more than normal. Maintaining posture while upright is always the best antidote. Maybe you're feeling a bit fragile right now and that's OK. Glad you have help, why not go for a good posture walk? - Surviving

Fragile indeed
Thanks Surviving60,
Yes I am feeling quite fragile at the moment. I was feeling so great yesterday and the day before having no symptoms. Then bam! I'm also getting over the flu so that's not helping with my mood and energy. I understand that my periods may be more of a pain than before my prolapse. I'm willing to accept a bit more heaviness during this time. I'm just really hoping that as the months go by my periods aren't always this bad.
I'll try to be easy on myself.

That is most likely going to
That is most likely going to be the case, we read about this often from our members. You can search for posts and we'll probably hear more from some of the post-partum bunch. - Surviving

Periods
Hi Pinetree!
In my experience the return of my cycle brought with it slightly more predictable days. Like you I have pain in my vulva and bum on days one and two. I used to get a crampy abdomen. No more! All that has migrated south and standing still is pretty much impossible although walking helps alleviate the pressure. I generally feel pretty good until the week after my cycle until ovulation when I become most symptomayc and feel like I can't eat without wanting to go to the bathroom, have weird air bubbles and bulging and generally want to just curl up in a ball until it passes. Th two weeks in the second half of the cycle are generally MUCH better with my symptom free days falling within this period.
I've noticed a slight improvement in the 'cricket bat whacked my groin' days as time passes. The last time I had to work on these days I doubled up on painkillers and this helped a lot.

Work
Hi Miss Diagnosed!
I'm glad you've found some predictability through all this. Maybe my symptoms will be somewhat like yours. My prolapse is so new I'll have to see.
But I am so worried about work! I have to go back in 4.5 months and am so scared! If my symptoms get better, great, but what will I do when I get my period! I hope it doesn't stay as bad as this.
Oh how I wish I can stay at home...but that would mean downsizing, which isn't a problem for me but my husband loves our house. Just venting! Hoping for much more healing...

Work
I was worried about work too but the distraction it has provided has forced me to stop focusing on all things prolapse and I've recognised that touch wood my symptoms are so mild most days that they don't even register if I'm busy. Being at home for me is bad for my obsessing over every little niggle! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! What does your job involve? I have to stand a lot and I think over all this is better (periods aside!) than a sedentary job.

Work/update
I work in an full time in an office so seated most of the day, although there can be a lot of getting up and moving around to go to printer, collaborate with colleagues etc.
I must say though that today is day 2 of my period and my symptoms are a lot better! Almost nonexistent except for a very mild feeling here and there. I even went for a 25 minute walk today (although very slowly and in posture the whole time).
But I am thrilled about this! A few weeks ago walking down the road caused heaviness and even some incontinence on one occasion. It may be a combo of posture and natural healing, and I continue to remain hopeful!
Thanks Whole Woman!

Hi Pinetree
I am glad to hear that things r a bit easier at the moment. I am sure the walk in posture is the perfect antidote to sitting all morning. Some people find a small back suppot helps with sitting in posture and I use two ,one is foam and the other plastic and both cheap and portable and also good for in the car. I guess u must have read it but don't forget to use raw organic honey every day as that has helped me and many many others here. U can search Honey on the search engine on this site, top left. Good luck and be kind to yourself :))
