NEW WW POSTURE VIDEOS!

Body:

Hi All,

As promised, we now have 2 new introductory videos up in the store: Whole Woman Posture Explained and Whole Woman Toileting for Pelvic Health. You can find them categorized under Whole Woman Fundamentals. http://www.wholewoman.com/newpages/fundamentals/.

I know this new material will help deepen your understanding of the importance of reinstating wide-radius lumbar curvature, while also ironing out the hump at the base of the neck with the Whole Woman work.

No one else is teaching WW posture, and you can clearly see the dreaded hump forming in proponents of other postures that habitually hold the ribs down.

Only natural WW posture is protective of the pelvic organs, hip joints, and many other body systems.

Enjoy and thank you for supporting Whole Woman!

Christine

Hi all - This is the perfect starter set for anyone unsure of what to get, or not ready to commit - you'll be able to jump-start your learning experience and gain a good overall understanding of what Whole Woman is all about. Jam-packed with information - in fact, in light of the affordable pricing, I'd really recommend these videos for all of us to add to our collections. I think I learned a few new things from that toileting footage! Christine and Lanny have done an amazing job on these. If anything has been holding you back - no more excuses! Enjoy! - Surviving

These are great introductory videos, and reminders for the rest of us to keep those posture principles sharp. So well made and understandable for the newbie to this work to start with.
Thanks so much Christine and Lanny for these new videos!!

Hi all Sisters out there,
In this age of commonly held beliefs about posture, exercise, restrictive modernized corset clothing, furniture, and footwear which all contradicts our natural shape, health and well-being,
Christine's work with Whole Woman is the way that I was able to be fully informed!

Here is an holistic, actual alternative to surgery of which I had never been informed as an option, when I first had pop and hip issues, and for 17 years I managed until I found this site...right when I was experiencing a pop and hip crisis....

Christine's new videos are the start of a journey of being fully informed - that there is a comprehensive alternative, which gives us the trusting relationship back with our intuitive body, and soul...
A connection that has been lost and that we can re - claim.

I highly recommend these videos as a foundation to WW work.
I will be forever grateful for the opportunity Christine's approach gave me to help myself and my body and soul be in better shape than it has ever been, four years later...

Best wishes to all,
Aussie Soul Sister

I was having trouble empting the bladder and having to go more often then usual. The new videos have
truly been a blessing. Thank you.

We appreciate the feedback. We think they're pretty wonderful, too. Glad they are helping. - Surviving

Thank you so much for these 2 vital videos. So many women can now benefit from learning these core recovery treatments. Posture & elimination are essential elements of the WW path to recovery. These offer clear instructions & demonstrations of how to do the posture & how to urinate & dedicate safely & effectively. WW is basically a self help treatment, just as a lot of physiotherapy is. But as with physiotherapy regimes, women need to receive advice, instruction & reviews alongside their own follow up practice & daily living advice.

I highly recommend anyone who is uncertain about how to do the posture or elimination to invest in their own health & these resources.

Is the information in these videos included in the All Inclusive Bundle?

These new videos were created to help kick start this work for those who were unsure about making a commitment to the bundles, and want a kind of introduction to this work without spending a lot of money at first.
The bundles cover everything you need to know and more.
I have all of the videos and books, and they are just fabulous. There is so much learning to be had with all of Christine's work, so take your time and enjoy the journey.

Thanks AG.

Is there a book or video that you would recommend starting with? I have ordered the all inclusive bundle and am waiting on it's arrival. Also is the book written in order of what to read first or is there a section to get me jumpstarted on the correct posture that I should start with? I am a very slow reader and would like to be able to get to the correct posture as quickly as I can as I feel from what I have read here that is going to do the most to help me with my cystocele.

The Saving the Whole Woman book and the First Aid for Prolapse video were the most helpful for me to get the basic information into this work. I liked the video when learning posture and exercises, just because I learn better from seeing things done in motion better. Each of us learn things differently, and Christine really does cover it all and then some.

Thanks AG. I've received my book and DVDs. I've watched the First Aid for Prolapse and am working on getting my leg muscles to the point I can sit cross legged and on my knees without aching. I knew I was out of shape but didn't realize how bad. I stand the majority of the day but guess those muscles are different. I think I am getting the posture figured out, but not sure. I don't think I am tucking my rear and I think I am relaxing my belly but I don't think I ever really did either of those before so I'm a little unsure if I'm doing it right or not.

I've started reading the book, however I'm a slow reader and don't comprehend things well. Trying to understand what I'm reading is hard. The book is written great but my comprehension needs work. I am trying to understand the breathing with inhaling and exhaling. I am also trying to learn to breath thru my nose again. I have breathed through my mouth for years as I have allergies and always feel like I can't get enough air when breathing thru my nose but I will learn to adjust.

I've watched most of the WW way to vulva vaginal health, it is very interesting and I'm sure I will be watching it more. I am planning on watching the yoga dvds next. Which is a new form of exercise for me. With sitting on the floor more and trying to do the exercises in the first aid dvd I have realized that our floors are too hard for my old body and am thinking I would probably find a yoga mat beneficial. All of our floors are either hardwood or ceramic tile. Can anyone recommend what I should look for in a yoga mat or which brand is best? Also is using a yoga mat beneficial or does my body just need to learn that the hardness of the floor is good for me?

I actually use a yoga mat when doing my projects on the floor. It really helps my knees when sitting for longer periods of time. I use a bixel high density extra thick yoga mat, and it gives me just the right amount of nice cushioning.
I am sure it is great for yoga too, but I have a carpeted floor that works just fine. Ease into those exercises taking them slowly over time. Your body will appreciate it.

Hi OFL - Christine's book is not a quick casual read. It's full of information, some of which is fairly technical and quite detailed. You'll come back to that in the weeks/months/years to come. I had nothing but the book for my first year of this work, and even long afterwards, kept it by my bedside and dug into it often, re-reading parts that had simply been overwhelming the first time through. Having purchased a great bundle of stuff, all at once, "overwhelmed" probably describes how you are feeling right about now. Take it slowly and one step at a time. - Surviving

Old Fashioned Life,
I breathed through my mouth at night until I read a book by Buteyko, mainly aimed at people with asthma, about 18yrs ago.
I don't have that, however I am prone to hay fever, but I felt that I was heading that way if I didn't do something else!
I started by training myself to breath through my nose at night...my nose used to literally close at the nostrils when I went to bed, however I persevered and also trained myself not to gulp air by mouth during the day.
It does feel like you are going to suffocate and not get enough oxygen, however too much and mouth breathing has a vicious circle effect, causing the mucus, allergies as a defense.
Also the nose is a filter for dust etc, and if we were meant to breath in that much air, our nostrils would be huge!
Now I can breath through my nose all the time, and then trained myself to breath into the torso and belly the Whole Woman way. I can also do a bit of running while breathing through my nose.

When I started the WW exercises, I needed a mat but I do the Hips DVD foot arch exercises on the carpet, for better balance.
I was very stiff and found it hard to sit with my legs under me with the tops of my feet touching the carpeted floor. Now I can.
I have to read and study what I want to learn revising as I go, and by working with my body I am able to augment this understanding of Whole Woman.

Take your time, it is a wonderful journey of empowerment and self discovery.

All the best,
Aussie Soul Sister
