Hi again Chickenfeet - if you click on your username and "track" your posts, you will find all the previous responses we have given you about how to help your mom with this issue. I don't think there is anything more to say, but maybe someone will come on with some fresh ideas. If you have Christine's book, then you can see for yourself what it contains, no need for us to do your looking for you. The Whole Woman work teaches us how to keep our organs held forward, away from the outlet; that is what we mean by "maintenance".

Since you post about your mom so frequently, I hope you won't mind if I use her as an example of why it is so important to train our bodies to hold natural posture while we can still learn......then if our minds start to go, our bodies will remember what to do! I hope that you too, Chickenfeet, are studying the Whole Woman work so that you won't find yourself in your mom's position some day. - Surviving

PS: I seem to recall that you once took your mom for a consult with a WW practitioner. Keep in mind that the forum does not serve the same function....we are just lay people with a few things in common (prolapse and a love for the WW work!) trying to be here for each other and make suggestions. I don't get the feeling that we are helping you too much, as you seem to come back on with the same queries again and again. You may want to consider another consult with the pro's.

Hi Surviving,
I have to apologise because your response was not visible under my post when i turned on my computer (Maybe that happens if I don't log out at night )so I deleted my question in order to edit it as I wanted to be more specific.
In any case, for anyone who is reading this now; I was asking if anyone knows the places in the book that discusses management of POP bladder if it remains out for the rest of someones life and preventing urine retention. I can't seem to find pages that go into this so I was just asking.

Yes, the question I was responding to was twofold: You asked for page numbers where you could read about "maintenance" of a significant bladder prolapse, and you asked (again) for help with bladder-emptying for your mom. - Surviving

yes I did, and i deleted my question to start over and be more specific. I was wanting to know what happens when the elderly person only wants to drink when thirsty and being on all Fours is not possible, nor is squatting because of stability neuro issues and co-ordination yet they are still prefer going out and being active. I was trying to avoid miralax and antibiotics... but will use those if there is no other choice. I was using silver drops, but stopped that because an MD i have been communicating with who cares for his mother of 96, said that Silver just pushes bacteria deeper into the body...(don't quote me) So now I use Biocidin drops and a product called Strength 24 which i think helps and Magnesium Glycinate definately keeps the stools a bit softer but not regular. She did get a shot of Rosefin instead of an oral antibiotic for positive asymptomatic UTI by an alternative MD. THis way it bypasses the GI tract.

I personally don't know anything about most of the products you have mentioned, but I will say two things:

Magnesium glycinate is one of two mag supplements I buy, specifically because I want the mag WITHOUT the bowel help. I'd recommend mag citrate instead.

Drinking only when thirsty is perfectly fine. It's really what nature intended. So don't force fluids on your mom. - Surviving
