Uterine prolapse

Body:

Hi I need help
I'm 36. I've been diagnosed with a prolapsed uterus by the gp. It followed an early miscarriage though the gp said it has no relevance. She said my cervix is half way down my vagina. It feels like a tampax is in wrong. Is this a severe prolapse. Is it just my cervix or uterus as well? The gp just said do my Kegals!! Navigate if I'm still trying for babies nothing else can be done. It's really uncomfy. I am
Seeing a specialist about repeat miscarriage in a week and the gp said to ask her about prolapse. Not very helpful. Some days it feels better than others at the moment it feels all open down there.
Please could you give me advice on where to start.

Hi Nozzafloor and welcome,
The best thing you can do for yourself now is start reading everything you can about the whole woman work.
Half way into the vagina is not severe, but left that way, it could get worse in the years to come. That's why it is so important to throw yourself into this work now.
Go to the tool bar above and start looking around.
The best start into this work is the Saving the Whole Woman book and the First Aid for Prolapse DVD.

Thanks ageing gracefully. That's reassured me a little. I'm going to look into ordering the dvd. Hopefully that'll help. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day so a really want to start feeling secure down there again
