When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

I have rectocele and it is manageable.
When I first had it, post - partum - long before I found Whole Woman, I used to get large round bowel movements that were challenging. I used to try splinting but it never worked. I used to also push up the bms as far as they would go, however over the years they now come back down again, and so I don't do that anymore and it comes by itself later, and have that happen rarely now.
I have found that along with WWoman toileting position and being consistent with fruit intake as a priority that BMs are much easier to pass. Root veg comes a close second if fruit is unavailable for any reason.
I have been using magnesium orotate, but take the minimum amount of 1 tablet a day.
Christine's approach covers all aspects of posture, breathing and lifestyle, diet and importantly, toileting. That is why I find her approach so holistic.

Retrocele Question
Thank you, Aussie Soul Sister. I've also found since writing my question that large intakes of water makes constipation a non-issue, as long as my posture is correct. I try to drink 70-80 ounces of liquids a day (at least half of it water). It makes sleeping through the night without interruption unrealistic, but that is easier to deal with than the constipation.

Rectrocele
First time to the site- so thankful for the things I have read so far. I thought I was the only one with this issue. Does anyone experience the Rectrocele popping in and out? Uncomfortable sitting all day. Any suggestions for relief?

I am glad that you have solved your constipation issue. When we work with our bodies the solution comes to us!

Rectocele is a very common issue, though not talked about in general very much - many women don't know what they have - I wasn't told what I had when it first showed up during my 2nd pregnancy.
The solution is in Christine's Whole Woman approach.
Once you live in the posture and belly/torso breath, you will be able to manage prolapse, and so much more.
There is also fire - breathing and jiggling that you can search on here and fire - breathing is also explained in the First Aid for Prolapse video.
I use that if my cervix is putting pressure on my prolapse from above, as her position affects my rectocele, and a warning that I have done something out of posture!
There are contra - indications for not using fire - breathing - Lynne - you don't say anything about your physical condition. Some of them are:
Don't do it during menstruation, and consult Christine if you have had a hysterectomy first.
One alternative option is downward dog pose, with a relaxed lower belly.
I encourage you to immerse yourselves in the WW approach, as
4+ years later I have come further with WW than I ever believed
or dared imagine!
Now I can dare and imagine what improvements are next along with surprises on the way!

Thank you for your response.
I was recently diagnosed with RA. Wheelchair bound since July of this year. I have some questions if you if you don't mind about a Rectocele.
Did you experience soreness when it started? Will this improve? Uncomfortable to sit! I have been reading and trying to watch my posture while sitting!
Also when I go to pass wind or have a BM I have a popping feeling like it's popping out and it stings! I pray this improves!!
I can't find where to get the First Aid to Prolapse video??

Sorry that you have RA.
I am a bit confused by your symptoms.
To me they don't sound like rectocele.
It is not part of our role here to diagnose pop so I've included a link below which describes prolapses which you can read.

The posture is fundamental to Christine's approach, and she also has many exercises which can be done while sitting. That is how I started.
A consult with Christine or a practitioner who lives near you sounds like the way to refine your approach to your individual situation.
