Body:

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the crowd, but relieved to know I'm not alone with the prolapse problem. Like most of you, I got little encouragement from my doctor (female believe it or not!), told it was a "nuisance" and that nothing but surgery would help. Obviously, I didn't like that response and I found this website. I have Christine's video and has started the exercises and posture with some noticeable improvement. I very much enjoy running and cycling. I haven't really tried running yet (not quite 3 weeks since my diagnosis) other than a jog across the street or for a block. I want to wait until I have a few weeks of the exercise routine under my belt until I try a real run. However, my question is what about cycling? What, if any, are the risks? I don't want to relapse, but wondering what other womens' experiences are and is this a possibility in the future?

Hi there is a thread called bicycling under the bodywork forum. There should be info for you there

Amy

Thanks for the tip on the bodywork thread. I am relieved to hear biking is enjoyed by so many. I just have to figure out a comfortable seat.
