When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

atrophy
Hi NFP,
Every post-menopausal vagina atrophies. There is no cure for this, as it is nature’s way of preserving the life of the human female far beyond her ability to reproduce. Supplemental estradiol (the estrogen of our reproductive years) will somewhat restore architectural features of the vagina and vulva, but not without risk to estrogen-target tissues such as the breast and endometrium. Women are often told by their doctor that vaginal estrogen creams do not have a systemic effect, which is untrue.
The best of the microbiology literature is very clear that estradiol should remain at inactive blood levels in older women to prevent catastrophic disease.
A large portion of post-menopausal vaginal discomfort is associated with loss of beneficial microbial communities rather than physical atrophy. As nature would also have it, a healthy vaginal ecosystem can be restored with raw honey as described in both the Whole Woman Way and The Miraculous Self-Healing Vagina.
Hope this helps.
Christine

My GP wanted me to have Gynecology exam with a specialist and I ran into the same old story with the benefits of supplemental estradiol, an option I told him is a place I do not want to go. Nor do I want surgery for my prolapse. I have the resources you mention and the knowledge, thanks to your work. The formula for me is consistency, whole woman posture, exercise, good diet and "raw honey 2x daily." Thank you for the reaffirmation that I needed.

Hi Mimzzy,
Hi Mimzzy,
You could try the raw local honey that Christine suggests. It may also be a good idea to look into Christine's vaginal health videos and lectures.

I don't know about particular
I don't know about particular non hormone formula. Natural products are always safe to use and raw honey especially if you get the fresh from somewhere are helpful in healing. Keep us updated, Good Luck!!

There are also hormone creams containing estriol/progesterone.
I have heard that estriol is a safer alternative to estradiol because it does not have the same harmful effects on the body but restores some other functions such as vaginal lubrication.
Is it really safer? It comes in a cream that can be used on various parts of the body as well as directly in the vagina.
What about progesterone creams made from wild yam?
Does raw honey help in the reversing of prolapse?

Christine actually has a
Christine actually has a wonderful lecture series that helps explain our vaginal environment most clearly. Here is the link:
https://whole-woman.thinkific.com/courses/whole-woman-lecture-series
And, her Whole Woman Way to Vulva Vaginal Health video is always a good source to more natural and safe ways for us to care for ourselves.
Honey does not reverse prolapse, whole woman posture does. have a good look around this site to learn more about Christine's work and how the whole woman posture can help you.

Thank you for replying Aging
Thank you for replying Aging Gracefully. There is a lot of info to take in all at once and I am still overwhelmed by the emotions that come up at times. I live in Denmark and feel very far away from you all in America. I feel alone so Im really grateful for this forum. Sometimes I get really scared that my whole bladder will fall out and I realize that I know so little about the most intimate parts of my body. Im working on the posture but have scoliosis and kyphosis, spinal challenges that make it really hard to lift the rib cage. My back muscles are often sore and I regularly have headaches due to the strain on my neck. All exercise goes slowly but I believe Christines suggestions are the way to go. I am slowly getting aquainted with her materials, have received my starter kit and watch the First Aid video and do the beginner exercises nearly every day. I would like to meet other women in Europe who are working with prolapse in the WW way.

estriol v estradiol
Hi Braveheart
I was wondering the same as you - I am using estriol rather than estradiol having heard it is weaker and I have to say it has been a life saver for me. I was in such pain in the vulva and uretha area. I have tried coming off it but the pain returned, so much so I could not walk or sit in a chair. I have been on it for several years now and am happy to take any risk.
