When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

good/bad
Hi TC - We all have good and bad days, it comes with the territory. As time goes by, and as your understanding deepens, you may find yourself more able to connect the dots between whatever you've been doing (or not doing) and how symptomatic you may be at any given moment. Everything you mentioned, and more, could be a factor. Stress often distracts us from posture especially in the early days of learning (that's why it's so important to train ourselves to make this automatic). - Surviving

I also have good days and bad
I also have good days and bad days and trying to pinpoint what causes the bad days. Stress has been a factor, also I have noticed when I am tired or did not get a good night's sleep. I am just trying to keep doing what I am doing and hoping that eventually the goods will outnumber the bad days.

Hi Totally Confused
I agree with u and u r not confused at all! It is when everything is working together that I actually forget prolapse altogether and I never thought that would be possible.I have been following whole woman advice like u but for over two and a half years now and I feel so thrilled to have found Christine's work and every one here.
I did however slip back into worrying symptoms and I do know why.Due to a dislocated shoulder (which I would not wish on my worst enemy) I was unable to walk outside for 4 icy weeks.I spent a lot of time laying down as that was least painful for arm and I did not want to take pain killers. Before this happened I used to walk at least 3 half hour walks a day in W.W. Posture ,I sometimes did the First Aid for Prolapse dvd and the yoga dvd occasionally ,I also ate very fresh 'living ' food!
3months on and I am walking as before ,already sympoms r improving . The dvd reminds me of the posture and makes me feel strong again and as I am in charge of food once more it is all as close to natural as possible. Dog is getting fitter too!
In conclusion I would say that for me the walking is absolutely essential every day.If I have to drive then I try to walk more the next day.The dvds r really great because they r so well made and feel like u r in a class with other great women.I have started cycling again but in posture ,as Christine does.Soon I will do a Spring detox and look forward to adding fresh herbs to my diet.I try to eat a salad every day ,like sprouting seeds and eat 2boiled eggs for breakfast.
If I have a day with a lot of time sitting on someone's saggy sofa ,driving for hours. Doing too much gardening or feeling depressed and lazy then I will def be symptomatic but I do believe that this site is keeping thousands of lucky women very fit and healthy and it is here 24 hours a day wherever u live ,the most amazing resource I have ever found!

Thank you Ever Hopeful. That was the most useful reply.
I too had been doing the detective work. My problem is that my main love is gardening and once out, I don't want to come in. I also am a keen naturopathic cook and all that preparation is hard to do sitting down. All my garden veggies take time to prepare. As a health practitioner it is not easy to eat fast foods though I have thought of it!!!

Wren ,glad to be of help!
I think sitting down is not good for women with prolapse! Christine manages to keep in posture sitting but I find it easier to keep posture standing.Have just had kitchen work top raised to exactly right height for me to prep food which has really helped. In the garden my OH has started to raise the veg plots so I do not bend down so much.I have learnt here that certain angles of bending r bad for prolapse but find bending from waist right down to floor is ok.Keep up the home grown organic veg and try a back support when sitting ,personally I prefer lying flat on the swinging hammock, haha!
Have u tried sprouting it is great fun all year round? Christine has tips for healthy eating here on the site.Have a lovely Spring Time in your garden.

Thank you everhopeful!!
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. You made me feel better just by reading your posting! Yes, we are all so blessed to have this forum to teach each other on these women's problems. It is better than going to see a doctor or taking medicine! I have been paying more attention to what I eat that caused a 'bad' day: spicy food such as curry or ginger, citric fruits such as orange or lemon. A depressed day also gives me a problem. I did not realize that walking is good for me, usually I can only walk 30 minutes and I will feel it's falling out down there. May be I should take short walks several times a day. I sit a lot, not always in WW posture, that's bad, I know:(
I will definitely do the First Aid DVD more often, on knees and hands with fire breathing more often, avoid foods that cause problem for me, walk more often, have a positive outlook that it will give me more good days! Oh the spring allergy, forgot to mention that this may be another cause why I have been having so many bad days lately? While I enjoy the warmer sunnier days of spring, the spring allergy is hard to deal with. Hope summer will be here soon.
