Cystocele

I am very depressed right now as my cystocele has progressed to stage 3. I am very uncomfortable for most of the day, and am also confused with the information I have read online as opposed to what I am being told at my Pessary clinic. I was there today and a nurse told me that if I don't use a Pessary my bladder will fall right out in time. Is this true? I have not had a hysterectomy or any surgery at all. I am very worried as the Pessary falls down on me every time and presses on the right side of my vagina, where my bladder is slipping more. To keep it in I literally have to adjust it every 1/2 hour all day. I also have slight blood tinged mucous on the Pessary when I remove it. The nurse said that was okay, and to just keep using the Pessary anyway. That doesn't seem right to me. I want to do whatever it takes to help myself, and am willing to do the work. I have tried to do the whole woman video, but I have bad ankles and so many of the exercises seem to hurt them. Is there a way to avoid this and still do them? Help please! I am post menopausal for 11 years, 62 years old.

Obviously the pessary is not working for you. It may be time to give your vagina a rest.
The whole woman work isn't just about some exercises, it's about posture. With the posture you are drawing you pelvic organs away from the vaginal opening and into the lower belly where they belong. There is so much more to learn here. I am not sure which video you have, but some study of the work itself aside from the exercise program is in need here, because a full understanding of what the posture is and the benefits of moving throughout your day with it always in mind will help you the most.
There are also little tricks and tips to get you through the more difficult times, and the exercises can be modified to fit your particular situation as in doing some of them in a chair. Not sure what your issue is with your ankles, but this work is also great in strengthening our ankles as well. Simply lying on the floor with legs in the air and doing flex and points, and then rolling the ankles can be very therapeutic for them.
You made need to increase your whole woman library in order to gain a better understanding of this work. It is well worth the study and work put into it.

I TRIED THE PESSARY TOO. IT DID THE SAME THING TO ME. I STOPPED USING IT AND GOT WITH THE PROGRAM. I AM DOING GOOD NOW WITHOUT THAT THING..
