Does Generic Replens work as well as the name brand product?

Body:

I have seen several suggestions for Replens for vaginal dryness. I think that this is the product that Christine recommends. I need to know if anyone has tried the Walgreens generic version of this product with equal success? I got the namebrand version the first time I tried it and was very pleased. However, I got the generic version and have not been nearly as pleased. I've not been as vigilant in using it every 3 days though. I'm willing to spend the extra money to have comfortable sex once again. I tried the honey remedy and got a whopper of a yeast infection. Not sure if the yeast infection was associated with the honey, or if I just happened to get one. I've been married 29 years and I'm ready for this vaginal dryness problem to be solved. So is my husband. LOL! Thanks, ladies for any suggestions.

Hi hope,
I think just experimenting with different lubricants is ok until you find something that works for you, as long as it is as natural. Have you tried coconut oil or olive oil?
Also, there is no correlation between honey and yeast infections. Christine does discuss this in on of the threads. If I can find it again I'll put it up. In the meantime, I would give the honey a try again; just make sure it is the raw local version for best results, because commercial honey has corn syrup in it.

Here is one interesting thread that you may want to read:

Glad you brought that one up, everhopeful. Excellent thread!!

Thanks so much for your input. I want to figure out how to make this work. I'll read through the honey thread.
