Childhood head trauma or birth injury leads to pelvic issues?

Body:

I’ve always noticed my posture is not ideal & quite different from most even when I really try. Dealing with the pains of TMJ, cranial nerve issues, neck stiffness, breathing problems & sleep apena lead me down a path of strengthing my tongue & facial muscles to help stabilize. But through WW I’ve uncovered I have weakness from tip to tip of my spine. I been told these kind of issues are sometimes cause by injuries early in life, which I did have my first concussion at 5 months old. That being said I follow WW posture as best as I can. I was wondering if others on this forum think their prolapse was ultimately caused by a brain injury that changed their movements, posture & pelvic position?

Also, what’s the best article I can send to my breathing & neuro sequencing therapist to help her understand the WW philosophy?? She understand kegals are worthless but today she recommend I see a pelvic PT so she obviously doesn’t understand what I’m trying to explain.

Forum:

I believe you have made a valid point - anything that takes us away from our natural posture has the potential to contribute significantly to development of prolapse. We tend to think in terms of all the usual cultural contrivances.....but I agree, an injury could have the same result.

Here is one article that would serve your purpose:

It's not recent. Some of our other members, or even Christine herself, might have one or more other favorite articles or blog posts (or even forum posts) to recommend.

I've always been very partial to the intro video, too - it does a great job of summarizing the concepts:

I'd be interested to hear what others may have to say about injuries. - Surviving
